The website photos are completely not accurate. This is an old and outdated hotel. The halls are dark. Flirting is old and there is even an odd smell in the rooms. Our rooms for the family were not put next to each other as requested. It just wasn’t comfortable. The staff are there but nothing extraordinary. Service was average to fair. The location is centrally located so if the rest doesn’t bother you then you’re good. There are many other choices that I would consider instead for future.

Really impressed with this hotel. Great location near transport, cafes and attractions. Very clean. Pool was a wonderful asset. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. ||One lady at breakfast is very friendly and the other could do with a smile ! X

The hotel promises to supply empty water bottles to fill in in the lobby, but despite the fact we asked for it, they did not provide. Deteriorated service since last year.

I gave this hotel 3 stars. While the location is great and the building looks nice from the outside, we had a bad start. Our first room had a terrible smell, though the staff did change it for us. Also, the breakfast variety is quite limited. It was an okay stay, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Extremely comfortable mattress. Wonderful bed linen. Great location. Friendly professional staff. Good sized room. Wonderfully clean and well equipped with tea, coffee, bottled water. Would love to return.

We recently stayed at Hotel Nice Riviera and overall found it to be a convenient base for exploring Nice. The location is excellent, everything from the old town to the seafront is within easy walking distance. Our room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a full day sightseeing. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which we really appreciated.||However, there were a few issues that meant, for us, it didn’t quite feel like a true four-star experience. The air conditioning was very ineffective, so the room stayed uncomfortably warm, especially overnight, and opening the windows wasn’t practical because of the street noise. Unfortunately, when the air conditioning was running, there was also a noticeable cigarette smell coming through, which made the room less pleasant. The pool is quite small and became busy very quickly, so it felt crowded rather than relaxing. We also noticed mould on the bathroom ceiling, which was disappointing and something that clearly needs attention. Overall, the hotel has strong points, especially its location, but in its current condition I don’t feel it fully matches four-star expectations.

We stayed at five different hotels on our two week vacation through Italy and France and this was the worst and only bad experience. The shower had a hole and was unusable and we had to move to another room. They didn’t even help move us. They didn’t have a concierge to help with information and they were not kind.

The location is good but the hotel is old and dated. The fridge wasn’t working we had to remove it and plug it ourselves after we tried to call the reception but the phone wasn’t working. The floor was unclean. They didn’t restock the coffee, tea or the water bottles . We were three but they included 2 towels and 2 water bottles. Very bad ventilation, the room was so humid after using the shower we tried to turn on the AC but also didn’t work. The breakfast is just ok. Shouldn’t be 4 stars . Will not come back.
