Wow ! I absolutely loved it, I went with a friend and we had such a great time. This castle is a true hidden gem in the area. The waterfalls are really gorgeous, and the castle is full of history. My favourite part was the tour of the castle with the guide who is absolutely brilliant, she is so passionate about her job and she knows how to grasp your attention. It's also very kids friendly with a knight on his horse and a musketeers fight. I will definitely be back !

25-30mins drive from Clermont-Ferrand One of the Bestest Locations to Visit In Clermont-Ferrand. There are few gardens, and waterfall, The Church. You'll see my traditional cultural stuff as well. To cover them all, You'll spend around 2hours there. (approx) Free entrance, Not Crowded, Parking Available. Enjoy

A beautiful castle with nice garden surrounded.

You are required to see this chateau via a guided tour and unless you're fluent in French I wouldn't bother. The children were bored as the stories were long and the written translations were short. You can only see 3 rooms and are not permitted to wander alone in the house or garden.

Beautiful Castle. The guide tour was humorous and colorful with some history background. Reviving the Medieval. We just did not spot the knights who say Ni.

Wonderful visit by professional actors who revive the glorious times in French, but they give written descriptions (English, Nederlands, ...) that allow you to appreciate the visit !
