I stayed one night at this hotel; it's well located and you can park on the street (for a fee). Medium-sized room with a comfortable bathroom; it was clean and had a kettle and cups for making coffee or tea in the room. It did not have a mini-fridge. The only major problem was the bed; the mattress sagged in the middle, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows are extra thin; two are uncomfortable, and one is even worse, resulting in a very restless night. Otherwise, the hotel is fine; I'll spend one night and continue my journey.

Stopped for an impromptu lunch while travelling 500+km home, and couldn’t have been more pleased. No issues at all taking a table of 6, including 2 young children with one high chair. They offered to store our pushchair ‘out back’ to keep it safe and out the way. Their small menu was also delicious, we all had steak and chips. Our eldest isn’t the most adventurous eater, so they kindly cooked up some off menu chicken tenders and chips for him which were a hit! Hospitatility was great and for a tired travelling family, we were thrilled. Thanks so much

I stayed here for two weeks during the Olympics. I feel so lucky to have chosen this hotel. It’s in the perfect location, walking distance to the train station. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean! The restaurant has a delicious bistro. It’s a family run hotel and restaurant, and you feel a part of their family as soon as you walk through their door. Also, the air conditioned room was strong enough to keep this American cool and happy during a heat wave!

My husband was sent to work in Chateauroux, we had a wonderful stay at this family owned hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. It's clear that a lot of care and pride goes into this place, and the personal touch made all the difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience. Not far from the railway station and centre of town. Air-conditioning cooled the rooms - needed since it was very hot. The host was friendly and professional at all times. Breakfast was ideal for each day.

The host was attentive. Adopted to my minimal French. The room was clean, warm. The bed was comfortable and there were loads of bedding options. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for the festive season.

We stayed here one night with our 2 dogs on our way up north to Calais. No extra charge for dogs. Very central, not far from the busy town with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Little park nearby which is handy for a quick dog walk but we walked them along the river which was lovely. Large Carrefour supermarket and McDonald’s just over the bridge from the hotel. Parking in the street outside the hotel that you pay before 6pm and after 9am, free on Sundays. The room was very big, really comfy bed and lovely, hot shower. Free Wi-Fi too with excellent signal. The owner was a really nice man, very helpful and spoke very good English. We will definitely stop here again next time we visit France

Super nice owners, kind and very helpful. Continental breakfast with a delicious variety of sweet, savory, yogurt, cereals, juice... Of course coffee! The room was spotless, beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were spacious with fluffy towels. The town centre is neat and cosy, very close to the hotel, with monuments, shops, restaurants and bars. Last, but not least, pets are welcome and the owner gave us the best available room for our little king to feel comfortable. Big thanks!
