We had been looking for a really good fish restaurant throughout our trip, and this place absolutely delivered. The service was excellent, especially from our waiter Louise, who guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be perfect. The octopus salad was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The sea bass was delicious, and the mixed fish platter with different varieties was beautifully done. The sides were just as impressive. Everything we ordered was consistently excellent, and the value for money was surprisingly good for the quality. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it if you’re in Antibes and looking for great seafood.

L’Oursin was truly one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the setting stood out—crisp white décor everywhere, creating a bright, elegant atmosphere, with tanks of live lobsters that immediately set the tone (we even spotted a rare blue lobster!). The food was absolutely incredible. The baked clams were packed with flavor, the seafood was as fresh as it gets. The oysters and the shrimp risotto were incredible. The wine selection paired perfectly with everything we ordered. But the standout for me was the fish soup—it was like velvet. Rich, smooth, and deeply flavorful, it was unlike anything I’ve had before. Every detail, from the ambiance to the quality of the dishes, made this meal unforgettable. If you’re in the area, L’Oursin is a must.

Best oysters we've had this year ❤️ I enjoyed dinner here with my two daughters, sharing a seafood platter with my youngest while her sister had the mixed fried seafood. We all enjoyed the food very much. Quite a broad wine selection by the glass.

Came here for lunch and really enjoyed it! Tons of outdoor seating on the square/plaza. Pleasant service. Reasonably large menu of fresh seafood items, and prices are fair. We got the Prawns (parsley garlic prawns I think?) and the octopus pasta. Both were great. Prawns were literally DELICIOUS; so much so that we almost got another order. Octopus pasta was also very good with a generous portion of octopus - some places skimp and they did not. Overall we had a great experience and we would recommend it.

Good seafood in central location of Antibes. The staff is very attentive (however best in French and no other language). The platter ”Mix de la mer” was served with boiled potataoes and sallad but somewhat dry without a sauce. The bouillabaisse served with traditional aioli, shredded cheese and slices of toasted baguette was good. Had a few mussels, white fishes and large red shrimp in a shrimp broth. Wine selection by the glass was good, got to try a couple different ones. Value by the glass compared to by the bottle.

Perhaps the worst mussels I have had and indifferent incredibly slow service. 45 minutes before anyone even came to our table. Over 1 hour before someone took our order. 2 hours before we had food. When we got the food it was universally bad. The mussels. The cod. The salmon. All overcooked. With the benefit of it being incredibly overpriced.

Seafood and fish lovers—this is the place to visit in Antibes! Dining at L’Oursin was an absolute highlight of our trip. The oysters were fresh, meaty, and full of flavor, and the octopus salad is an absolute must—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable, truly some of the best we’ve experienced in Antibes. To top it all off, the terrace offers a romantic and charming atmosphere that makes the whole experience even more special. If you love seafood, this restaurant is simply a must-visit!

Fresh seafood, simply and deliciously prepared for a variety of tastes. Friendly service even during busiest times. Satisfying desserts. All have added up to several top meals over the past few summers, so my family keeps coming back.
