The food was fine and very reasonable priced but the service horrible. We arrived and our order was asked after ~5 min (totally fine), after that it took 35 minutes (and a reminder from us) before they arrived. Things can go wrong but we didn't receive a sorry or explanation why it took so long when we got our drinks.. Bear in mind that there were many tables around us who arrived after us who got their orders way before us! Our table was completely empty 🤡 Also it felt like the service was way more friendly to the French speaking customers 😬

The food was really good - we had the beef bourguignon and the shell pasta risotto with ham and summer truffle. We also had escargot as an appetizer. We were really full by the end of the meal. The outdoor seating is nice and plentiful and the indoor dining is cute and cozy. There were only 3 waiters serving the whole restaurant so it's understandable that there would be some delay in service but they were really nice and spoke/understood English well

The waitress was curt, and really could not care less, the food very ordinary, chips frozen...not a good expirence

The food was excellent but we agree with other reviewers about the service. It was haphazard and poorly organised. A long wait between courses. Customers who arrived after us received their food first. There are plenty good eating places in Dijon with first class service. We wont return

Good food, service inconsistent but good, nice atmosphere

Well presented Brasserie with very accessible menu. Our first time in Dijon, we were looking for a nice dinner spot for an authentic taste of Burgundy cuisine without the tourist trap treatment and Brasserie François was excellent. We tried their Escargot for entree, and had both their Beef Bourguignon and their Tartare de Beouf. Highly recommend both dishes - particularly the Beef Bourguignon. Good portion size, and impressive depth of flavour. Staff were welcoming, warm and attentive. We would visit again if in Dijon. Thank you.

I was sceptical at first because of the bad reviews, but the food was quite good. The salmon was ok, nothing exceptional, but the pork was excellent. This place has a modern decor and very professional and warm service.

Visited for a small lunch and a drink. I had been craving Beef Bourguignon, so ordered that for lunch. It was delicious! Many thanks. However, the service was very underwhelming. I couldn't help but feel that being on my own was viewed as annoying to the waitresses (travelling alone so its always a booking of 1 for me). I had to go up to the bar to ask for a coffee, and was told to go to the bar to pay, which non of the people around me had to do, so it's a shame. Some places you are treated normally when you're on your own, some places not so much.
