I had an amazing experience at Alliance Française. The teachers are truly exceptional—you can feel their passion and dedication in every class. The administration is highly efficient and always ready to help with anything you need. The school also offers excellent resources, including a well-equipped library that supports students with homework, phonetics, writing, and overall language improvement. In addition, they provide cultural activities at discounted prices, which makes the experience even more enriching and enjoyable. The entire school is very clean and well maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Overall, Alliance Française is one of the best schools I have ever attended. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality and supportive place to learn French.

Best class ever? Quite possibly Sylvaine Hinglais’ “Français par les techniques théâtrales” This is NOT a theater class. It’s a French class that draws on proven techniques from the stage—diction, pronunciation, and delivery—to help students speak with clarity and confidence. Unlike most Alliance Française courses (and I’ve taken many), this one is highly active: you’ll be on your feet, speaking far more than in a typical classroom, and learning through creative, interdisciplinary methods. Sylvaine is a remarkable teacher. If you have the chance to study with her, don’t hesitate—you’ll leave speaking French better than you imagined possible.

A2.1/2 afternoon semi-intensive class. Wonderful experience. Perfect pace and the instructor was amazing; very engaging and helpful. Definitely gave me confidence to continue studies in French and feel like I improved on all metrics : speaking, listening, writing, reading comprehension.

Nice language school with a well-structured program — it’s easy to complete one level per month and continue for as long as you like. Great location as well. Highly recommend!

An exceptional experience — I highly recommend it I recently completed the intensive A2 and A2.2 French courses at the Alliance Française de Paris, and I can honestly say it was one of the best learning experiences I’ve had. Over two months of intensive study, everything was exactly what I was looking for: a rigorous program, a warm and stimulating atmosphere, and a real sense of progress from day one. A special mention goes to Linda Neves, who is without a doubt one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. Her ability to make complex grammar feel accessible, her energy in the classroom, and her genuine commitment to each student’s progress made all the difference. She turned every class into something you actually looked forward to. The facilities are also worth highlighting — the library is fully equipped, cozy, and a perfect place to study for long hours without feeling overwhelmed. If you’re serious about learning French and want to do it in an environment that combines quality teaching, great resources, and a welcoming community, look no further. The Alliance Française de Paris delivers on every front.

Administrative service is not so efficient and flexible. They do not respond well to what clients want and request. Their attitudes seems to be a bit bossy. I was very disappointed about the quality of teaching. In my case, a substitute teacher took over for 3 weeks out of 4 weeks.

I had such a wonderful experience taking my first immersive French course in Paris! I enrolled in the A1 class with Stéphanie and absolutely loved it. Her teaching style was engaging, clear, and really helped me progress quickly. The program was well-structured and offered a fantastic balance of learning and cultural immersion. I also want to give a special shout-out to Italo at the front desk, who was always friendly, helpful, and made everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to learn French in an immersive, supportive environment!

Excellent teachers, an international atmosphere, and a great location in Paris. A wonderful experience the strengthened my motivation to continue learning French. I look forward to coming back !
