Hidden behind the city walls is the old part of the town. Here was the power centre of Republic of Genoa over the island. Explore the narrow streets, enjoy the view on harbor/marina now, have a coffee, spend a nice afternoon.

These tiny streets are very cool to explore, eventually leading down to the harbour. Quite a few little cafes around with very friendly owners.

Great spot to dinghy to shore from your boat on anchor. Metal rings for locking if needed. Great walking trail and access to town.

The old Citadel has lots of hidden bars amongst the narrow streets. Plenty to see and lots of informative boards around the area. Museum close by and well worth a visit but check opening times (12-00 to 14:00 closed). A number of very good cafés and restaurants near the main square and good views over the marina.

Beautiful landmark, please come at any time to have this sight of a lifetime, unmatched anywhere else on Earth

Very nice, beatifull view of the bay, option of walking down trough the gardens or elevator (great for ppl with difficulty to walk) and multiple tables with information about buildings around in french, italian and english. How little it takes to make all tourists feel so much more welcome. Loved to walk around.
