We had dinner at La Buona Cucina during our stay and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s a quiet place with a nice terrace, perfect for a relaxed evening. The food was very good and felt like authentic Italian cuisine. The menu is quite small, but honestly every dish we tried was delicious. We had the parmigiana, the ravioli, and the seafood pasta, and all of them were full of flavour and clearly homemade. The only downside was the service speed. Everything was very slow and it took more than an hour to get our food after being seated. So it’s definitely a place to go if you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind taking your time.

Great place. The guys are great and passionate. Next time I'll try the seafood linguine. Nice wines...but why on earth are the Italian wines SO expensive?...I'll stick to Rose de Provence

Came to this restaurant for the last meal of our holiday, not expecting to be able to get a table as it was nearly 9pm. We had the best meal of our holiday, accompanied by fantastic and enthusiastic service, not rushed at all. Good selection of wines, and good prices of food / drink for the area. The seafood spaghetti was a highlight, although all three courses were fantastic. Would like to thank the staff for a great end to our holiday. Strongly recommend a visit to this restaurant if you are in or around LCV.

Amazing food and service; If you in the area, must visit. Home touch food, unforgettable food experience, excellent service and wine. For desert sorbet de limón, best ever!! Definitely come back Better reserve table.)

DELICIOUS FOOD. Unfortunately the first time I have ever eaten at an italian restaurant and ordered wine is not served with food; and the staff doesn’t even care they turn me into a evil psycho asking for WINE WITH MEAL, maybe jesus was crucified for asking for WATER. Waited way to long with mains and no RED WINE on the table. La Buona Cucina/Servizio Schifo

Great authentic Italian restaurant 👌❤️. The food is tasty, fresh and amazing quality. I recommend it.

Unfortunately, mother nature has made a crime at this restaurant. I urge visitors from the gecko, if you see a large flock of birds above & you are not seated under a roof or umbrella, leave immediately. I saw bird excrement plop on my table (a inch from my food) & my head! The staff were either unaware or part of the crime. If you see no birds on your journey, then good service & food all around. To the staff: invest in more umbrellas & roofs for your own sake P.S. Guess the owner added a comment to my original post & does not realize the atmosphere of this restaurant matters (nor realize having the manners of a buffoon are unacceptable). You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink it

Staff were very friendly. I would say the service was better than the meal. I had the seafood spaghetti, which I was very excited to try after reading the reviews. But it just didn’t hit the spot. Maybe because we dined late or didn’t have a reservation? I had one prawn. One prawn head? 2 clams and 3 mussels. Of the mussels, one shell was empty and was was closed. That was it. Husband had the calamari which was rather greasy and not served with any aioli. Felt a little disappointed.
