The food was absolutely perfect, every dish full of flavor and made with real care. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. What stood out the most was how authentic the flair of the place felt genuine, warm, and full of character. Definitely a must visit. Highly recommended.

Incredible food, wonderful chef Stefano and his wife and delicious food! We have travelled all around the world and this gem of a restaurant is the same as any trattoria you would find in Italy! Came for a coffee in the morning and some pastries and had to come back for a late lunch because the breakfast was so good! The pasta was incredible and the wine!!! Had to bring a bottle back of house wine because it was so amazing! Will be back every time we visit in the area! Love supporting family owned businesses wherever we go and this was the tastiest place we had in our whole time in Monte Carlo! Gem of a place!!

Stefano, the main chef and boss at Il fornaio is amazing! He was extremely welcoming, also the food was delicious and affordable and did I mention delicious? :) Thank you Stefano & team for making my first visit in Monaco so tasty and warm!

Absolutely incredible experience, food, and atmosphere. Stefano and his wife were so welcoming on our visit just outside of Monaco. We went 3 times in our 2 day visit.

tasty lunch at II fornaio! well priced pasta dishes (16-22€). we tried the truffle bolognese ravioli, which was quite tasty but i wished it had stronger truffle flavour. i really enjoyed the penne amatriciana which had great tomato and guanciale flavour! male staff made quirky jokes but i suppose it was entertaining 🤣

Il Fornaio exceeded all expectations. The pasta is outstanding — the burrata pistachio ravioli were truly amazing, and the truffle ravioli were rich and flavorful. I also tried the carbonara, which was perfectly balanced and comforting. The real surprise was the porchetta — honestly, among the best I’ve ever had. To top it off, Stefano, the owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming. His hospitality made the meal even more memorable. Highly recommended if you’re in Monaco and craving top-quality Italian food!
