The best boutique hotel in Menton. Superb breakfast - white table cloth, homemade lemon and mandarin marmalade from the tree in the courtyard. 👌👌
We had a wonderful 5 day stay at the beautiful La Petite Maison in the town of Menton, France. The guest cottage was a lovely, relaxing place to stay. It was beautifully decorated and a much better option than a hotel room. We returned during the day to relax for an hour or so before going to the beach and then out for dinner. Beatrice's breakfast was wonderful. It was served in the courtyard under a lemon and mandarin orange tree...idyllic! The location was perfect, with everything you need close at hand. Highly recommended!
My husband and I were visiting a friend who lives in Menton. We debated about staying at a hotel with sea view versus La Petite Maison, a B & B. We were very happy with our decision to stay at Beatrice's charming garden home/B & B. There are two rooms, each with an entrance from the lovely garden. Across the small garden is Beatrice's home where a delicious breakfast is served. We enjoyed talking with Beatrice at breakfast and with the two other guests. The decor has personality without being intrusive. The location is excellent-- central yet surprisingly tranquil. A perfect stay in Menton!
This wonderful B&B is so perfectly situated and is just seconds from tourist shops, restaurants, and the Plage des Sablettes beach. The location simply cannot be beat. It is located off of a small alley, and had a beautiful private garden that was our oasis during our five-day stay. Beatrice is fully-deserving of her wonderful reputation as she was available to assist us and her other guests with everything from dinner reservations, to train reservations, maps, translation services etc.||Our suite had a daybed for our daughter, and a comfortable large bed in the loft area. The large washroom and tub was great for washing up at the end of the day, and we were able to dry our swimsuits on the heated rack.|Beatrice prepares breakfast every morning, and provides fresh croissants/pain au chocolats, as well as meats, cheeses, baguette, and fresh jams (some of which are made from fruits in her garden - try the lemon and mandarin jams). We were able to order take-out dinner and enjoy it in the privacy of the courtyard away from the noise of the town. It was truly a delight.||Like most places, there is no AC so you must be aware of that, but multiple fans made it surprisingly comfortable. ||All in all a perfect place to enjoy a few days of summer in Menton, and I look forward to visiting again.
We are so happy we found this B&B in Menton that would have loved to stay longer! Close to the beach and plenty of restaurants, but without the noise associated with such a perfect old town location! Our hostess Beatrice was super friendly and helpful in helping us organize our day to day activities. Our room was charmingly decorated and very comfortable for us three. For me the highlight was the beautiful and shaded garden, perfect not only for the typical French breakfast in the morning but for a glass of wine in the evening as well.
We had a lovely stay at La Petite Maison. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. La Petite Maison is located in the heart of the city. But if you enter you feel like you‘re in paradise. Beatrice was a lovely host, she gave us some advice what to do in Menton. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh bread, hot coffee, hand-pressed orange juice and homemade jams. We can definitly recommend to stay more than two days in this lovely place and to explore Menton.
We had a lovely visit to Beatrice’s B and B. She was very welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The garden is gorgeous and feels like a secret hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Menton. Béatrice prepared us a lovely breakfast each morning with homemade jams from her citrus treats and fresh croissants… so delicious. And the location could not be better… right in the heart of the old city. You do have to find pay parking in the town because she is on a pedestrian only street, but there were plenty of parking options nearby. I highly recommend this lovely spot if you’re ever headed to Menton.
I have been visiting Menton since 1982 and have stayed in many great places. However 5 years ago I found La Petite Maison and my daughters and I have been going back each year. Beatrice is a super hostess. The environment is so attractive with a lovely private courtyard for her amazing breakfasts. The apartments are charming and so French and it is just a few steps to the pedestrian area and all the tempting shops and entertainment. We will be back again this year this time sharing with more family members. Thank you Beatrice for your kindness and hospitality!
