Nice place, great teachers, they have free classes to learn french! It’s just a little bit confusing because there no signs or anything indicating where’s the room for the class, very crowded the classroom, recommend to get there early to find a table and a chair, class are very interactive!

It is science based courses campus of ENS de Lyon. They ran several programs in mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry related courses in both French and English. You can always consider the place for your BSc, MSc or PhD program. It is really a nice place to be.

Chaotic admin. My university experience as an exchange student can only be summarised as a bureaucratic nightmare. The staff were also very slow at replying to me by email regarding urgent matters, such as my exam results. It took me 7 emails and 2 weeks for them to send me a simple piece of paper which they should have done a month ago. Any child could've done so within a week. There were very few clubs and societies available to students. I sent an email to 3 societies and they never got back to me. I expected better from what was supposed to be one of the top 5 universities in France. There were very few classes available to exchange students and signing up to classes was still done on paper, whereas most universities do it online nowadays. Most of the course descriptions have not been updated for 3 years and were either not available or not what I had expected. The campus buildings look shabby, outdated and seems to be constructed on a low budget. The wifi almost never works and my teacher got an electric shock just by touching the light switch. To all the Erasmus students, if you're considering going to ENS Lyon, all I can say is make sure you do your research first instead of blindly going for its "grande école" status. Ultimately it is up to you to choose but I certainly would not recommend!

The food was awful, meat was uncooked and they kept us waiting for half an hour. But the staff was really nice. I would not go there again, but i've seen worse.
