Very strategic location.. easy to access.. affordable price

Great hotel in a great location! If you’re traveling solo or with a partner/group, this hotel is perfect. It’s about a 5 min walk from the main train station in Cologne and right next to the cathedral! If you’re here for Christmas markets, it’s just steps away from the main Christmas market in Cologne next to the cathedral. The rooms are clean and specious and if you get a balcony view, the view is unreal!

The room was clean but very basic no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. The bathroom was tiny and although plenty of space in the room it didn't have much else going for it. Before our stay the hotel phoned and offered us a paid for upgrade to be away from the noise of the Christmas markets by having an inside room. We declined as we wanted to experience the full Christmas Market atmosphere yet when we arrived got couldn't see or hear a thing from the nearby market from the room we were allocated. Lots of noise from within the hotel though. ||The hotel is in a great location for the cathedral and we did hear the bells but that's all.|| Staff were helpful and friendly we stored our luggage all day as we arrived at 10 am due to flight times. ||Breakfast was ok, no hot items but fresh bread, some cucumber, cherry tomatoes, cereal, yogurt, ham cheese, hard boiled eggs, tea and coffee. I packed my own tea bags so used one of those with breakfast.||I probably wouldn't stay again as I really feel you're paying for the location not the room itself. We paid over £200 for 1 night in a Double room and got a very basic room that looked nothing like the photos.

Couldn't have asked for a better location, situated on a main shopping street with the cathedral a minutes walk away. Plenty of bars restaurants and coffee shops to choose from all within easy reach. Hotel had everything we needed, comfy beds, hot water and complimentary breakfast.Rooms serviced every day with beds made up and fresh towels. Free WIFI too. Would definately stay again

A good room in a great location at a great price. The people behind the desk were super friendly and helpful. Nothing wrong with the rooms but they were very basic: clean, comfortable and safe. Walk out the front door and the cathedral and high-streets are right there. Would stay again for the convenient location and price.

This hotel was really well located on a busy high street and near the cathedral which I could see from my room. Plenty of shops and places to eat near by, a few minutes from the main train station and so easy to walk to all the attractions. I went for the Christmas markets and I was able to walk to 5 of the main markets of Cologne and also to the Cologne Triangle.||Breakfast was included, it was basic but enough just to line your stomach for a day of sightseeing. ||I did read a review that said the walls are thin and that is the case as you can really hear the closing of doors and the people in the neighbouring rooms. My room looked out onto the high street so it did get loud but to be honest none of that really affected me to much as I fell straight asleep most nights so it didn't ruin my sleep and I can be a light sleeper.||There was a small lift which was good for luggage and as the hotel is small I never had to wait for the lift during my stay.||I would stay in this hotel again if I was to visit Cologne again.

The location is right on a main shopping street, very near the Cologne Cathedral, and a few minutes walk from the main train station. The room was comfortable and relatively quiet with the window closed. A small elevator is good for those with luggage. I didn't try the breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Had a great last-minute-planned stay at the callas hotel. The room despite not looking much was very comfy and I got plenty of rest ! Thanks for the receptionnists kindness. 8 min from the train station and a view of the cathedral ! (although the bell rings for 5 min at 7am, be warned aha)
