Nice small family-run guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. The surrounding landscape resembles the low mountain ranges of Europe. Whether the rule is actually enforced remains to be seen, but a ban on bringing food and drinks into the rooms feels rather odd. The owner is enthusiastic and communicative, though it should be noted: in French.
😊: It was a great location for proximity to the volcano and the museum. The outdoor space was fantastic with lots of character and options for sitting and relaxing, even sitting in a swinging seat to watch the sunset. The host kindly let us use the outdoor fridge and microwave, as being vegetarian we were not able to eat the evening meal there. We ere also able to get a super- early breakfast so we were able to climb the volcano..
😊: A completely exceptional approach. The owner family prepared a Creole dinner for us from home-made ingredients, we had a very pleasant conversation, they spent a lot of time with us. It was a great pleasure for us and we send our warmest greetings and memories.. 😢: nothing.
😊: Checkout/breakfast at any early time (important for Piton de la Fournaise, which is usually cloudy after 10 or 12). Dinner. View (unless it‘s cloudy, rainy and/or foggy as we experienced it).. 😢: Dinner price (28€), but there are not many alternatives in the area. If you don‘t speak French you have a hard time communicating with the hosts and other guests at the dinner table. Parking lot (on premises) is small..

😊: Nos gusto la hospitalidad de la familia que lo regenta. Nos sentimos como en casa, el lugar es maravilloso, bonito, cálido y en un entorno rural envidiable! La cena criolla, es lo mejor que hemos comido desde que llegamos a la isla, si venís, no dejéis de probarlo!!!! Casera y deliciosa! Gracias por tanta amabilidad y hospitalidad! Es un placer coincidir con gente tan maravillosa!.
Super belle expérience. Les chambres sont parfaites avec une terrasse commune qui a une belle vue sur le Piton des Neiges. Le dîner cuisiné et servi avec amour, passion et savoir-faire. Le petit-déjeuner avec des produits maison. Les conseils sont au top pour adapter sont programme dans les coins. Je recommande !
