This hotel far surpassed my hopes and expectations. Websites can oversell a place with camera angles and photo edits and I was prepared to be slightly underwhelmed by L'Arlatan. Instead, I found that the hotel, restaurant, bar, and grounds were so phenomenal that the website actually undersold the space. It’s even more incredible in person. Everything was perfect - the comfort, coolness, and beauty of the rooms, the kindness of the staff, the stunning gardens and the phenomenal restaurant. Every detail is thoughtful and perfectly executed. I thought Arles would be a quick trip while passing through Provence but instead I’m already planning my next visit just so I can stay at L’Arlatan again. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Unequivocally one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed and we have stayed at the Ritz Carlton, Fairmont, Four Seasons, etc.|Staff: Vert friendly and accommodating. We checked in an hour early, but were welcomed warmly by a woman from Senegal whose name I missed, seated and familiarized to the hotel. She then took us on a personal tour of the hotel premises and ended up showing us to our room. Later, I wanted some ice to enjoy some Ricard in the room and was provided glasses and ice by the restaurant staff - actually they said they would bring it to my room and already knew my room number (go figure!). On two evenings we asked Blandine at the front desk for restaurant recommendations and she called ahead to get us seats at restaurants that were superb local and affordable cuisine.|Accommodations and facilities: The hotel is beautifully decorated with every aspect including a simple stairwell looking like an art display. The room was spacious, comfortable beds and chairs, and quiet. The bathroom was very modern and well maintained. Lighting is easily controlled from the bed. Everything worked well and looked brand new. The gardens are well maintained with what look to me like exotic plants and trees, and I live in Hawaii.|Ambience: Relaxed, quiet, comfortable and friendly.|Possibly my best experience in a hotel.

Restaurant is good, not a wow. Chicken was overcooked, but the sauce was tasty. Lamb confit was tasty. Strawberries dessert was pretty but not substantive in texture or flavor. Design was beautiful, great rooms, fun and lively.

We stopped by for a drink in the courtyard and it was so magical. Wine was superb and the server was kind. Worth a stop while wandering Arles

I have not arrived yet but I have received a mail from the hotel announcing me that Saturday and Sunday night there will be a DJ in the court playing music from 18h00 to 24h00! They also written me that they will provide me with ear plugs at my arrival!!!!!! Really!!!

Amazing location and uber chic hotel! The most vivid and inspiring interior design. Our only complaint was that the pool was closed the first day, but the staff was so sweet and apologetic and made up for it in other ways. Make sure to get croissants next door!

Visited over lunch in May - waited for 2 hours and was finally told that “we could leave as our dishes wouldn’t come”. No apologies, nothing, not even the restaurant manager coming for us.

Nice rooms, extremely helpful and friendly staff and a great location. Enjoyed good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, which was vegetarian friendly.
