The residence has a good quality/price balance, overall the stay has been pleasant. However, I had a flea/bedbugs infestation and when I arrived the mattress wasn't well cleaned or changed. I appreciated the response from the reception that solved the problem and supported me. As an international tourist I would suggest to have staff with more knowledge of English and an equal treatment for the guests, for example I noticed that certain French people had a hygiene box for free while I didn't and they received more informations than me. Apart from these little improvements, I had a nice impression of the English speaking staff person at the reception and I appreciated the independent space I've lived in.

A very helpful receptionist although closed from about 12 until 4pm which is the earliest check-in. The rooms are in a large complex of studio apartments. Seems a mixture of short holiday and longer term residents. Furnishings are old-style but ok. You get a bag of bedding to use and return at checkout. Also a €300 deposit is required from a credit card, and credited back if all ok after departure. Prices are reasonable and location convenient.

This place ticks a lot of boxes - it's in a great location to explore both the village on foot and the area by car, almost new and very clean with well equipped - if small - bathrooms and kitchens, access to laundry facilities, secure parking and a decent sized pool. Downside: it does not have much charm or atmosphere. There's little privacy with so many holiday makers packed next to each other, the pool was very busy during our late July stay and while the secure fencing is useful for families with very young children, it isn't exactly pretty to look at.||It was perfectly adequate and comfortable for our 2-night stay while we explored the region's sights, but we were not tempted to spend a lot of time on the compound.

Good location, close to the town, Nice set up, goid pool, accomodation is OK. Close to some lovely walks. Reception staff friendly and very helpful, they are very good. Beds are ridiculously hard like sleeping on planks, we used the cushions from the day/ nighter to soften the main bed, otherwise would have been close to impossible to have a good nights sleep. It was good value for what we paid, but watch the mattress scenario!!

We had a great time at the Clos de Rocher and could have stayed much longer. It's relaxed and informal but welcoming and in the perfect location for Les Eyzies. Look out for the Vendredi Gourmand in town where everyone sits en plein air and enjoys food and music together. Lovely atmosphere. The apartments have everything you need for coffee in the morning and light meals. Would recommend, particularly for families with young children. The price was reasonable for what you get.

Where do we begin… Appartements are small, have no good natural light and no air conditioning. The bedroom is so small you can access the bed from one side only. In addition they are in dire need of remodeling. Do not trust the pictures you find on the internet page of the residence ! Not for handicapped people either. Small uneven walkways and no lift to the first floor. The pool is overcrowded I.e. way too small for the number of appartements The gym equipment is barely functional and again too small. No paper towel in the gym bathroom for at least 3 days now. Common areas sure could use a new coat of paint. Staff is friendly. There’s no one on Sunday. And finally there are not enough parking spaces so it’s a fight and the jungle in the evening. The only thing this place has going for itself is the location within walking distance to the village

I think the terraces in the apartments could be kept better. The ceiling was falling down in our apartment due to a leak in the wet room above. The bins need to be managed better, there were probably 60 empty wine/beer bottles left in the wrong place on the ground at one bin site. The wifi was very patchy. The gardens were lovely and the environment quiet. The pool needed to be tended better. - it got greener and greener as the week went on and the shower didn't work and I didn't see any evidence of the loungers being cleaned.

The location is great with easy access to the small village where there is a small selection of restaurants and shops, it's also a great base for exploring the region.|The apartment was comfortable for the 4 nights we were there, however had we known when we booked that we were forced to leave a £300 room deposit on arrival, make up our own beds with a bag of sheets provided, buy our own cleaning products to thoroughly clean the apartment (kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, balcony) and strip all the beds on the morning of departure ready for a room inspection before we could check out and get our £300 returned we probably would have booked elsewhere as we were supposed to be on a relaxing week away and it ended up feeling like we were at bootcamp cleaning for the next guests. |We are also still waiting for our deposit to go back into our account (3 days later) |
