Climbing the bell tower is well worth it. Notice states that times were restricted 1500-1800, but I arrived at 14.30 and they let me go up. Cost €2.50. You’ll need the right change. 235 steps to the top. You can observe the bells on the way. Try and time it to coincide with the hour strikes. Large safe platform at the top with stunning views all round, including the citadel and distant Pyrenees.

A lovely old church within the Bastide, the interior is huge and lovely to walk around, we especially love the gargoyle's.

The tower - I have a fear of heights but love the view when it feels safe. This tower is fine - 262 steps up a solid spiral, then a nice safe feeling viewing platform at the top. Fantastic views, well worthwhile- recommended

Well worth paying the small fee to climb the tower. It was very windy at the top and just started to rain so we didn't get great pictures but the view of the citadel is excellent and would be lovely in nice weather. Sturdy steps so felt perfectly safe climbing.

Another beautiful cathedral in our tour of Southern France! The stained glass is stunning. There is also beautiful World War I memorial in pink marble. A must see if you like cathedrals and architecture.

The church is beautiful inside, and the views from the top of the tower are fantastic. However, make sure you take coins to pay to go up the tower. I had a €20 note and a €1 coin, entry to the tower costs €2,50, and they couldn't give me change for the twenty.

Gorgeous cathedral worth visiting. Lofty and spacious architecture showing its age (beautifully) in places. Some excellent gargoyles on the outside around the building worth investigating. I was there at Christmas and there were some interesting natale scenes from around the world.
