Beautiful location close to restaurants and things to do. From the front of the building it looks like a quaint, old French style townhouse. Stepping through the doors brought us into a warm, carefully curated space with high ceilings, winding elegant staircase, and pops of contemporary art mingled in with period pieces and architecture showcasing the original home's grandeur. A quiet pool in the back terrace is surrounded by rock walls and luscious plants and flowers. The hosts were amazing! Non intrusive yet very mindful of guest's needs. Carcassonne is right outside your door, but the feeling of solitude envelopes the house. It feels like a secret. Would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic 4 night stay, Sadie and Joachim were amazing hosts the house was beautiful and in a perfect location, the Breakfast was really lovely and fresh and we absolutely loved the dogs! We will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay here, it's a peaceful spot! The owners are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was generous, rooms were clean and tidy, pool and outside area was great. It was easy to walk to the old city but also new town. Really don't have a bad word to say :)

First impression: We're pulling into Carcassonne. Rolling down the main drag. Hoping to find a parking space not too far from where we'll be staying. There's parking on our left, in the boulevard's median space. Our GPS tells us that we're almost to the Bed & Breakfast. Dawn slips into the left lane to turn into the lot, but … there's some guy in shorts and a t-shirt stepping down off the curb on the right side of the street waving his arms over his head. Is he waving at us? And now yelling at us? What the …? It's Joachim, one of the B&B's owner operators. And now he's standing in an empty parking spot, directly in front of 45BB, and waving at us to back up into the right-hand lane. Now he's stepping into the right-hand lane, holding off traffic to facilitate that maneuver. So, that's the vibe. Sadie is from Singapore and Joachim from New Zealand and they are, pick your metaphor – down to earth, salt of the earth, no-nonsense, plain-spoken, straight-forward – or just say "practical." You cannot feel more at-home or at-ease than in their company. You can not help but like them. Where to eat that's open that day at that hour? Ask them. Where to shop for whatever? Ask them. How to get to the Cité? Ask them? "Head this way. You'll see this.Turn this way. Walk [X] blocks. You'll see this, but don't [eat || shop || take that turn] because just beyond that is [way better option]." Leave a shirt at a previous B&B? They'll contact Sadie and she'll take delivery of its express shipment, collect the postage, and transfer that back to the previous B&B (which, by the way, is equally praiseworthy for all that they did to make our tour of southern France wonderful). Grab the wrong Euro-bill and seriously undertip your day-tour guide? No problem. Slip the bill you meant for him into an envelope and hand it off to Sadie and she'll get it to him. She knows the guy. "He's great!" Joachim and Sadie are not just your hosts, they're your local support system: a relentlessly helpful logis

Four of us (two couples) stayed here for three nights at the start of October.A beautiful B&B, with very comfortable bedrooms and fabulous communal areas, including a lovely pool and garden. There was even a very reasonably priced honesty wine fridge: perfect! Breakfast was great and set you up for the day! The hosts were so welcoming , without being intrusive and a font of information on all that beautiful Carcassone has to offer. They have two beautiful and very well trained schnauzers who were the icing on the cake for us! We would heartily recommend to anyone travelling to Carcassone.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The couple that own it are so welcoming and friendly, they can’t do enough for you, but at the same time are not intrusive at all. We felt so comfortable and at ease. The room was absolutely beautiful, we had room 1 overlooking the pool with the table on the balcony, which was lovely to have lunch on in the sun. Guests have free use of downstairs which again is beautifully decorated. The hotel is easy walking distance from all the sights in Carcassonne, perfectly situated and despite being on a main road it is very quiet. The owners offer a ride to and from the airport for a small cost (€10), cheaper than a taxi, Uber or bus. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Would definitely return without hesitation.

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful B&B in lovely Carcassonne. The room was lovely, and the outside area with pool was really great to spend some time relaxing. About 10 minutes walk to the old town, which is like a fairytale and such a great place to visit even in August it was not too busy.

What a quaint and lovely B&B. It's located just outside the old town, but only a 5 minute walk to Place Carnot and the town centre. It's also walking distance to the Canal du Midi and the old walled city of Le Cite. There are only five rooms spread across the two floor so it felt private but there is a communal lounge room and outdoor pool area to mingle with the other guests. Some rooms overlook the pool area so I'd recommend one of those in summer. Breakfast was really lovely - so fresh and simple. The hosts are the best! Sadie and Joachim were so welcoming and friendly (and the two fur babies are just adorable). Would definitely recommend.
