This was our first 3 Michelin star experience, so the expectations were over the roof. We have been to 1 star restaurants around Belgium a few times already, so we know what the experience should be like ;) It's Monthers' Day weekend, so we only had one choice: menu Boury, priced at 335€ excluding drinks. We were fortunate with the weather so we had the opportunity of having our apperitif and starters in the sunny garden before being seated at our table inside, which I really liked. We heard a couple of comments from the hostess that struk a wrong cord with me. She first mistakenly assumed we do not eat pork (perhaps because of our darker features?) which we politely corrected. She followed it with "oh sorry then it must be another table". Of course it can be an honest mistake but what followed kind of made it clear it wasn't. She asked if we will go for the wine pairings and I said I do not feel like a lot of wine, so I might have one glass. She then referred us to the non-alcoholic option :/ Again, I respectfully corrected her and confirmed that I do drink alcohol (and we clearly had 2 champagne glasses in front of us), I just do not feel like multiple glasses and she said she will send the sommelier. So was it our features that made her think we do not eat pork or drink alcohol? Perhaps. It could have also been just an honest mistake, but I would expect better from the hostess of the year 2026, that's all. People are very sensitive these days, and other guests might have taken offense. Now for the food: Each and every dish looked and tasted good. I cannot say that I was blown away with each and every one of them though. Some were just fine for me and unexciting (the salmon trout and the quail), and some really stood out (Wagyu taco, a heavenly brioche provençal, and 'Ocietre' caviar). Both desserts had the flavors of my dreams. Super fresh, tanguy, and playful with layers. What disappointed me was the meringue of the vacherin. The taste and smell of egg was very
Amazing food service everything. One of the best dining experience I’ve very had all the awards and accomplishments are very well deserved. Truly a 3 star experience.
Celebrate my bday yesterday. And i must say our first 3 star Michelin restaurant after enormous 1-2stars. I can see a difference within how the team is matching each other it’s like a really well oiled machine. The restaurant look beautiful really nice ambience. We had the pleasure of Tim signature dishes due to 15th year anniversary. I had tried the exclusive wine paring and my girl the normal wine paring there is off course a big difference in it. The exclusive was way better overall. Attention point that we had was only one real thing: It’s was way too warm in the restaurant. They really heat op the place, i think no need cause people already getting dressed up long clothing due to the time of the year and off course alcohol. Next to that one glass that was dirty but of course the sommelier took care of that. Can happen right. What was also a pleasure that Tim was driving us back to castle Ter Wallen due to the fact that unfortunately we couldn’t stay at Boury.. But we chatted during the ride in his beautiful BMW. So overall try it, we had a really good evening 👍🏼👌🏼
Best dining experience in the world. Beautiful setting and wonderful menu
Food and service at Boury were exceptional elegant, precise, and full of flavor, truly worthy of its three stars. The cheese trolley was to die for, with a fantastic selection and perfect presentation. The only detail that felt slightly out of place was the neon sign in the dining room, which didn’t quite match the otherwise refined ambiance. We also booked one of the rooms and really enjoyed the stay, it felt like a boutique hotel experience with lovely amenities and great attention to detail.
Excellent food, nice location, very nice and competent staff, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Perfectionism combined with "the personal touch" of the (relatively young) owner and his wife. Also compared to other 3* Michelin restaurants: REALLLY EXCEPTIONAL ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
Absolutely enchanting! Boury is one of those rare places that immediately makes you feel special. The courtyard is beautifully green and peaceful, the service is attentive and warm, and the food is simply out of this world. It’s incredible to know that more than 35 people work here – their passion and teamwork truly shine through in every part of the experience. If you’re looking for perfection, you’ll find it here!👏🏻🌟
Amazing experience. Went for lunch and left around 6pm. From all the different flavors that made each dish a discovery to tbe beautifull plating, the friendly service, the lovely wi e selection. One of the better 3 star restaurants I have eaten in.
