Excellent day out, our granddaughter had a wonderful time. Fantastic zoo.

What a nice zoo! The animals are curious and interested, they come or run towards you (probably for treats) but let’s say to greet you 😉 The animals seem at ease, playful and happy.

Nice zoo. Although it look old but all animals seem well take care and seems nature. This zoo is very nice for my 2 little daughters (3 and 5 years old). They enjoy with all animals there. We spends 2 hours there Very recommended & ' Do not forget to buy food for animals' . Animals will love it and kids also. We will try to visit them again 😁

Fantastic experience! The zoo has so many animals! We bought some food and fed them. We were also lucky to see hippos very close. There's a lot of places to have a snack too. And they have some small attractions for children. The zoo is really big, we've spent the whole evening there and it was not enough. We were with our 1 year old baby, and he was so happy! We really recommend the zoo!

Stunning Zoo - one of the best in Europe ! We don't understand how people can complain about dirtiness. Nature is by default dirty and NOT a hospital or an antiseptic clean room. Only people who live in an artifical 640x480 screen size world can believe that nature is absolutely steril clean. This is a ZOO and these are REAL animals who live in a very happy and often very spaceous environment. They are a bit dirty, but that IS natural and i agree that it is not aesthetic to our eyes - but it is more natural than washing the elephant every day with a jet spray. No elephant in Africa has that. In fact what puts this zoo above almost ALL others is the fact that one can be so very close to the animals than nowhere in any other zoo. The staff b.t.w. is very competent. They know everything about the animals, how to treat them, they do exchange programs with other zoos in Denmark, Holland, Brazil and other countries - and they are really in protection and providing as much natural environement as possible. YOU NEVER HAVE SEEN ANIMALS THAT CLOSE BEFORE IN YOUR LIFE !. And it is true, that the zoo looks a little bit old and would deserve a little bit of refresh - the staff and the management would love to do it - but NO MONEY - so rescue this zoo - and GO THERE, SPEND MONEY and ENJOY The close proximity to these lovely creatures. They have stunning more than 1500 different anymals and hundreds of different species ! You easily can spend a half day and/or with picknick there. I attach some photos so that you can see - Flamingos in 50cm distance from you ! wherelse can you have that ! The Rhino that gets fed in-front of your eyes really. AND ASK THE STAFF - they are really very motivated to help, explain and make you familiar with all the various animals and their often funny behaviour. Little zoo but putted a lot of animals on. When you see the commercial of the new part opening with farm animals, dont expect to much of it. Money should be better invested in the rest of the zoo. Snack was nice to have in the middle of the walk. Little new play ground was nice made.

Convenient parking. The child will be interested. During the day, you can get to feed the hippos. Very old territory. Entrance for an adult is 18€.

This 'Zoo' has been totally enclosed by the surrounding zone commercial. The zoo has a selection of animals. Their biggest attraction is a selection of big cats, ranging from the Serval Cat to three lions and 5 Tigers. Besides that there are several savanne animals, lots of different sheep and goats. The terrarium have a few snakes, but most are empty. In summary their are 40 mammals, 35 birds and 8 kinds of reptiles. The parc has been build in 1971 on 16 hectares in Fréjus. Initially it had been designed for usages by car and on foot. As of 2020 it is not possible to visit the Parc by car. In 2009 new animals arrived from the Zoo at Cap Ferrât and the Parc has grown 5 hectares up to 20 in total. But most animals are not in their natural biome and I find it difficult to believe that this Zoo can continue to exist like this.
