One of best motels we’ve ever been. We had to go suddenly from Barcelona to Monaco, and it was the only place with fair prices for the start (F1 racing weekend rocketed prices up around), ending with acceptance of quite late check-in. Gisele, the owner, made us smile from the very beginning. Comfortable and clean rooms with a small terraces, working A/C and hot water for the shower, that was all we needed to have a great time over there. The location is perfect, nice and quiet, and in the middle between shops at the market square and busy beach bars/restaurants. 5-10 minutes of walk and you have everything you need. Excellent cozy one-storied hotel, situated in the quiet impasse, some distance away from (relatively) noisy main street of St-Aygulf. The beach is not far away, maximum 10-15 minutes of slow walk, enjoying clean sea air.||The city centre is 20-25 of slow walk away. Some good restaurants are in the centre – it was a pleasant after-dinner walk along quiet city streets.||We had informed Gisele (the owner) that we were going to arrive quite late. Gisele was very kind waiting for us late and warmly greeted us.||There are 8 rooms in the hotel. The rooms are not large, equipped with small kitchenette, fridge, AC. Besides, each room has a small outside “terrace” with table, large parasol, and chairs – great option for breakfast! The “terraces” are separated from each other with green fences, ensuring necessary privacy. Enough parking space for all guests.||Everything is clean and in good conditions. Stable fast Wi-Fi connection. There was small issue with the safe, but it was solved during one day.||Gisele and her team are very friendly and welcome. They helped us with all our requests – advices, booking tables and taxis, simply chat, etc. :).||Overall, if you are looking for a quiet rest in a cosy hotel with very friendly reception and service, then Athena is highly recommended.

we booked on line well in advance for 7 nights|| we found it hard to find as it is down and round the back of some other places and unmade roads .||the parking is fine BUT the studio bore little resemblance to the photos I had seen on line ||they seem to be for the bigger apprtment with a proper small kitchen and good outdoor space with clothes line etc ||i fact the outer area is open to all other clients who pass with no where to peg out clothes and the so called kitchenette is miniscule||whe you open the door to enter the door hides the door to the bathroom which is very slim but just OK|| the width of the door opening fits in this kitchenette||a tiny sink and board over the two rings no where at all to prepare food or dry dishes a microwve up high on a shelf and really a joke .||||we did get to borrow a toater but it had to go on the little dining table. ||The tv only works until 9 at night so not good for someone looking forward the football match at 9 ||We were told it was to do with strong emmisions from the italian emmiters .||there was a strange open shelved fitment sticking out by the bed with a mirror on the front which my head colided with on the second night .||By now my husband just wanted to go home ||so at 6.30 am I started packing and we left.|| I was suprised when the lady said she did not know how to refund my credit card so I settled for a cheque which cleared 6 days later when we got home .||I am afraid Giselle talks a good game about problemes with Tv and other things but not at all what we had hoped for ||luckly with a short drive to St maxime we found a much nicer place to stay with better and cheaper good quality restaurants ||this would also apply to Sr Rapheal a short drive away ||I will never go back to that hotel or the town

We traveled around the coast of Europe this summer, a family with children. Excellent cozy, comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Located near the sea, convenient location. Very well-equipped spacious rooms.

Questa struttura è situata a Saint Aygulf, in una posizione davvero ottimale: dista circa 100 metri dal mare ed è molto vicino al centro paese. Le camere sono piccole ma dispongono di tutto il necessario; lo spazio esterno è sicuramente un plus non da poco. La pulizia è buona e l'attenzione di Giselle (host) verso gli ospiti è veramente pazzesca. Il motivo delle 4 stelle è dettato dall'angolo cottura: poco spazio a disposizione nella zona dove sono serate le piante a induzione e il lavandino. Struttura consigliata per un soggiorno comodo e tranquillo!

Propriétaire très sympathique. |Nous avions une belle chambre avec une terrasse agréable. |Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. |Nous reviendrons car c est très pratique comme emplacement et les prestations sont très bien avec en plus petite kitchenette avec frigo efficace.

Pour un séjour cosy, je recommande. Très bien placé, hôtel petit donc calme!
