Nice spot to visit. There are three stores inside. Great spot to see Fort Boyard and Fort Enet as well as l'Ile d'Aix.

Marvelous large fort that is free to enter. Great views from the ramparts. Shop and cafe inside, free parking outside.

Impressive and well preserved historic fort with outstanding views over the Charente estuary l'Île-d'Aix, l'Île Madame and Île d'Oléron, Fort Boyard and Fort Enet. Entry is free although there is a fee to access the museum which was closed when we visited, also we were not able to access the top of the tower, however you still get impressive views from the terrace. We took advantage of free parking in a large car park beside the fort.

Loved walking around here. Lovely old fort, free entry just on the beach. It was really cold when we went so had to wrap up. well worth a visit.

500 free parkings spots, there seems to be some hospitality inside (not verified by me). If you are Fouras it is worth to check out the promenade and get some ice cream. The view on the famous Fort Boyard is nice but be aware you are far away from it.

It was a really nice discovery especially at this time of the year it was so peaceful and the weather was perfect to admire the Vue from the roof. This is just beside the main beach and a car park.
