My former boss has invited me there for dinner three times already, and I have to say, it was a real treat for me every single time.||Whether during the day or late at night, the dining area is a feast for the eyes. Since my former boss is a good friend of the restaurant, I’ve also been able to take the occasional tour of the kitchen and other areas, and even with the regular courses, there was the occasional little extra. ||But I think it’s always worth a visit, even without that little special touch—provided you like truffles. That’s obviously the main attraction here, but if you do like them, I can’t think of a better place to dine.||I highly recommend a visit, and the staff is very friendly, as far as I can tell as someone who doesn’t speak French. ||All in all, it’s the perfect place to go if you’re in the area and in the mood for a culinary experience. Since I live in northern Germany, it’ll probably remain a rare occasion for me to dine here, but whenever I’m in the area again, this is one of the places I’ll definitely make a point of visiting.
Basically this is a nice place to stay nestled in the woods with private parking and glassed-in porch. Attractive grounds with entertaining sculptures. Comfortable bed, good heating. The two flaws were that the sliding door to the shower was missing, and there was no reading lamp. Attentive reception service.
The room was good value for the price, but the poor service and terrible breakfast overshadowed the good memories of this unique Michelin-starred restaurant/accommodation.||We stayed two nights in a loft room, which was nice. The bed was particularly large and comfortable and the bath was lovely.||||However, the list of problems with the service began immediately and saw us through to our departure. We were not told of the jacuzzi or sauna and only found out by searching the website ourselves then asking to use them. We had to book a time slot, which was fine. The first time we used the jacuzzi the water looked an odd colour. The next day, just before our time-slot, we received a call from management saying our booking had been cancelled as there was a problem with the water quality.||||When a cleaner finally arrived in the late afternoon of the second day, only the towels were changed. Nothing was cleaned, the overflowing bin was not emptied, the toilet paper not topped up – we ran out before we left - and the tissue box left empty as it had been when we arrived, ||||Breakfast on the first morning was nice but on the second was a farce. The pastries, which were the main element of breakfast, were burnt crispy. When I asked to replace one I was at first haughtily told that this was how pastries were made. When we reminded the waiter that we had been at a markedly different breakfast the day before, he conceded that perhaps they’d been overcooked. He grudgingly offered a 20 min wait for new ones, or some plain bread. Neither were a good option and we declined both.||||On check-out we saw that we’d been charged for an item that we had not had, and in an insincere and feeble attempt to apologise, the staff member told us that a glass of wine we’d had would be on the house. It turned out that nothing was taken off the bill.||||It was abundantly clear that this establishment was indifferent towards guests accommodated there, and only concerned itself about the lunches an
Nice spacious suit with great facilities. Their jacuzzi set in the middle of the garden was very romantic and relaxing. We've had a great dinner in the restaurant.|The breakfast was also on a top level with fresh fruits and croissant.
The hotel was comfortable even if a little in need of a renovation in places. Old bathrooms and confortable beds suits me. View from bedroom peaceful and pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful and beautifully presented.
We had a stopover here while eating at the restaurant same night, there is a possibility to stay in three different departments, we stayed at Cypres a big room, big bed and silent air-con. Bathroom and toilet in the back of the room. Out side a small porch with a view.
The accommodation was very comfortable and isolated from everything else. So perfect quiet and absolute silence. Nevertheless the restaurant is at walking distance and the car parked right next to the room.
