It's free for everyone. When I came in, the staff asked me where I came from and he issued a ticket for me. There are also lockers right behind the reception, which are really helpful for ones coming with luggages.
Nice museum to visit. When we visited, they had a couple of exhibitions on. It is free to enter; you just need to confirm your nationality if you are a tourist. Rucksacks or big bags must be left in the office area. Friendly staff. It is located right next to the cathedral. Well worth a visit.
The courtyard is open and free to all. I didn't visit the meseum, but sitting in the shade/sun in the courtyard looking at the gorgeous buildings was a great relaxing way to spend an hour.
MUDO is an absolute masterclass in curation. What struck me most is the seamless, sophisticated dialogue they’ve created between eras. Seeing the evolution of form—from the refined, academic lines of Ingres to the bold, architectural power of Tamara de Lempicka—is an exhilarating experience for any art lover. The Art Deco and Art Nouveau collections are particularly stunning, housed perfectly within the historic frame of the palace. It’s rare to find a museum that honors the "old world" while feeling so relevant to modern design. As someone moving to Beauvais to engage with the local creative scene, I find this space incredibly inspiring. It’s not just a gallery; it’s a high-level cultural anchor. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates the bridge between classical tradition and 20th-century glamour. A mist visit when visiting or in transit do not miss.
Entry is free. It has some special expo from time to time. The staff is very polite and helpful. The building is very old, from year 1015.
The museum is in a beautiful old building. When I went, there was an exhibition of paintings of myths and legends. Some beautiful paintings. As you enter, you'll be issued a ticket from the desk. It's worth keeping as it has the code for the toilets printed on the reverse.
Beautiful place. If you like art, don’t forget to visit. Free entrance.
Lovely place, well worth the admission fee (free!). Go and see the roof and the art deco furniture.
