UPDATE: I received a voicemail from Myriam less than 12hrs after my review. She indicated that she would personally take care of resolving the issue and she would proceed the refund I was entitled to right away. In fact! less that 48hrs after, I received the return shipping cost refund directly in my bank account. I am grateful that Myriam took care of my concern. THANK YOU very much Myriam and your team for all your support! ********************** Jeans are beautiful and very well made. This company cares a lot on the art of making quality jeans in a sustainable way. The jeans fits wonderfully! If you are living in France, I would highly recommend Atelier Tuffery jeans! International Shipping and return However, I am sad to say that I would not recommend this company to international customers like me who are living abroad in Canada or US. Through my online experience (ordering and exchanging items), I felt Atelier Tuffery was not organized to do international shipping in North America: You might want to note: should you need to return or exchange your items, you will be supporting the international return shipping cost. Eg: for 2 jeans, I payed over 85cad return shipping cost with regular Canada Post which is around 30% of the cost. One might want to consider this for budget purposes. Customer Service In term of customer service, I felt deep loss of trust: Prior I returned my items, they confirmed to me, they would refund shipping cost I would pay, finally I got information from them that they met challenges to refund me (Failed refund with their system, Employee working only on friday etc). I followed-up 6 times, They replied 5 nice apologies emails telling that they were 'truly sorry' and they would 'get back to me', last time was 3 weeks ago and they never got back to me. Very happy with my item, looks and feels like a high quality garment. Also, my package was shipped out from the heart of the Cévennes and delivered all the way to the Netherlands within 2 days - pretty impressive.

It's so heartwarming to see a local business with this direct contact with the customer and a real quality product. Excellent customer service and the jeans turned up for you in a moment. Ordered a pair of jeans for a very important birthday on May 25th one month ahead of when I would be leaving the country/when I would need them. 3 weeks in, no news regarding shipping. After calling them and explaining that I needed them ASAP, I was told they had just arrived and would be shipped within 48 hours. One week later and 2 days before my flight, still nothing and no communications received from them! I called again and they simply said: we can't send them now, sorry- nothing we can do. Can't speak to the quality of the jeans, but only the horrendous quality of the customer service. No communications, no efforts, no sense of urgency, no commercial sense. Are you a business or just spending your days in the factory? This left me scrambling at the last minute for an alternative and all you had to do was send one email to your clients saying there were supply chain delays... Edit: the review is very fair contrary to the response of the owner. I did not speak on anything but my experience nor extrapolate. I called twice and no one informed me the jeans were ever shipped nor did I ever get an email to this effect other than that they processed a refund. I understand that the jeans might be great but as a business it's up to you to also manage client relationships and supply chain, not just the product....- sincerely, a grand écolier d'une école de commerce.

Quick, effective. Everything made there has an astounding quality as well as being very good looking. I love the style and will definitely look to come back when possible! I don't know if the staff speaks English though. But they will gladly manage if necessary for sure. Recommended!
