Avis
Not far outside Fondettes, the remains of the aquaduc are an easy cycle on practically flat, quiet roads. There is a small rest area with one seat and an information board, otherwise the remains themselves are alongside the road and someone's garden. Worth a visit if in the area
Just northeast of the village of Luynes, amidst the fields, lie the remains of a Gallo-Roman aqueduct from the 2nd century CE. A nice photo stop.
Toke some finding but we'll worth the effort
Nice and worth visiting to have somethingdifferent from all the castles ;-). Nearby a lovely small town with historic market hall and a great restaurant for lunch or dinner.
Amazing to see such an old engineering relic, in middle of the country
Near the aqueduct there is a bench to sit The guide board in French
Short stretch of Roman era remains which is Free to view. Parking available opposite
Interesting remains of a Roman aqueduct, a large number of columns and arches but not a lot else. It's free to visit and there's a handy little car park nearby.
