SCI STILE E MONTE

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst walking in the beautiful alta rocca region. We hadn't booked so turned up on a whim but luckily they had a room free. The staff were friendly, helpful and down to earth. Ate the plat du jour on both nights both of which were delicious and hearty, just what you need after a days walking. Breakfast buffet was equally hearty and good quality. Great hotel, nice people in a beautiful area, what more could you want?

If you are looking for relaxation and quiet time this is the place to stay. The hotel has a nice view over Bavela and Quenza. The rooms are spacios and clean. Staff is very welcoming and they speak english well. The restaurant is nice and well priced. We were lucky to be here when they organized a barbeque beef, and it was lovely. |You can dinner indoors or in a lovely garden with lots of flowers and a place for children to play. |After all that you can drive to the nice beaches for a tan, they are just 1h away. Propriano beach is very nice and not crowded, and Porto-Vecchio has a beach and lots of places to shop.

Nice balcony looking at the road and a garden (might be noisy in summer). Thin walls, bads comfortable, and relaxing shower. Good breakfast: musli, delicious bread, and confitures but mediocre coffe. Restaurant expensive for the portion, nicely presented but nothing special in terms of taste.

Great Hotel for a relaxing vacation, exploring trip, city break, with an awesome landscape view, great service and beautiful people. The rooms are very clean, well arranged and properly maintained. Restaurant has a diversity of foods, well made deserts, and a very responsive servicing! It also have a garden next to the Hotel, where you can take dinner, have a drink with your best buddy or lovely wife, while enjoying the best of beautifully landscape, awesome decorations and fresh air! If you are up in the mountains of Quenza, it's probably best to assume you are not expecting too much of a fancy hotel. And while it doesn't feel fancy, there is a understated elegance to the entry area and the rooms themselves, including the bathrooms. I would liken this to a very upscale motel. In terms of the overall experience, we imagine it is peaceful during the off season, but it was quite busy when we were there. In fact there was a huge crowd of people partying hard until late at night with loud thumping music till past midnight. This interfered with our ability to get a good nights rest, but in the end we were fine. All of the staff at this family run establishment were very nice and extremely helpful. Overall a positive experience.

The hotel was a lot posher than I expected with a smart restaurant and a spacious, comfortable bar area. Our standard room was basic and entirely adequate with a pleasant balcony. The room cost €80 for the night and breakfast was €13 per person extra. For this price you received the usual Corsican breakfast of starch - pastries, bread - as well as boiled eggs, cheese, ham, fruit and yoghurt. We ate in the restaurant that night and I was very disappointed to find that there was no non-meat entrée available. While my partner enjoyed a beautifully cooked plate of duck, I was obliged to eat a small starter of warm goat's cheese - with lots of bread to bulk it out. The hotel is family run and everyone is very friendly and relaxed. I expect that it gets very busy in the summer but while we were there it was quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is a great base for exploring some of the less-travelled villages of southern Corsica. It is close to the spectacular plateau des cochons which is worth a detour. The staff were really friendly and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was an excellent buffet; the only fault I could find was that the water in the boiled-egg cooker was definitely not boiling.

I was first going to Zonza to have my base camp for my hiking there, but Zonza was just too busy place for me. So, I drove a few kilometres away to small village Quenza. Found a very nice, clean hotel with English speaking friendly staff. And with very good restaurant in it. Very comfortable bed. I was planing to stay there 3 nights and in the end stayed 5. Love to stay there even longer if I could.
