We booked two rooms here as a stop gap between two trips. One room for us and one for our kids. We were disappointed immediately. The bathrooms were dirty- with hairs on the loo seat and not flushed - and a dirty shower with mouldy grout. See pictures. My daughter had stained sheets and when she rearranged her bed there were dead insects tucked down the side. One room smelled heavily of lynx and the other of vinegar. Shabby net curtains and curtain falling off pole. Just sloppy. The overall impression was of a student flat or a motel. I just cannot believe how they can call this a 3 star.

Stayed here for 6 nights, from December 26 to January 2.
Overall experience was POOR. Staff attitude was rude and unhelpful from the start. Requests were often dismissed and basic issues were treated as if they were my fault. On check in day, my room key did not work. It was a bad start. I went back and forth from the first to the fourth floor several times using the elevator. Each time I was told I had demagnetized the key by keeping it too close to my phone. In the end, someone had to come upstairs and manually unlock the door. Only then it opened and worked fine for the rest of the stay.
The bathroom constantly smelled like sewer. I asked for a deodorant spray and was told it was not possible. On December 27 I reported that the retractable clothesline inside the shower was stuck and unusable. I was told maintenance wasn’t working that day but would have made a note and fix it on the following one. Nothing was ever done during the entire stay. The swimming pool temperature is advertised on their website as 29 degrees. It was clearly much lower, at least on the day of check in, December 26. They also require guests to request room cleaning one day in advance, supposedly for sustainability reasons. In practice it did not work. I had to fight to get the room cleaned only 2 days out of 6. One time I made the request at the desk at the correct time and they forgot. Another time I stopped the cleaning staff in the morning to ask if my room was on the list and they said no. The so called free municipal shuttle is presented as a major advantage. In reality it does not run on Sundays or on January 1st. No one informed us at check in, which caused several issues.
The website also mentions an on demand shuttle service available day and night since winter 2019. When I asked about this, nobody knew what I was talking about. One staff member even replied, “I don’t know about the bus, I have a car.” When I asked for an email address to file a complaint, they initially refused a

Room was extremely basic. Could do with a revamp (shower tray sowing signs of years of use), bed not comfortable. Spa was acceptable, but didn’t blow me away.

I'll start on the only positives of our stay - the check-in staff were very welcoming, and the view from the balcony was stunning. This hotel could be amazing if it was upgraded.|We were told upon check in that there is no Air Conditioning, despite it being advertised, nor were there any fans left for use. |The cutlery, delf, and glasswear in the kitchenette were filthy. |The double bed and bunk beds in the family room need to be replaced. 2.0 Hanna Jalava

Upon arriving to the hotel we were greeted by a rude front desk who was more interested in chatting with his friends. When we entered our room there was strong sickening smell of cigarette. The room wasn’t the cleanest but we were happy to see the cot we had requested there. During the night my asthma was triggered and in the morning I saw mould spores in the sheets under the blanket. The breakfast was included in our stay. Average selection but was sad to find no allergen information anywhere. There were two juice machines with two kinds each. 3 out of 4 had run out. Coffee machines looked rather new but deemed like they had never been cleaned - extremely filthy. Sticky floors and stickier tables. Happy we only spent one night in the hotel - would not recommend if traveling with a child, food allergies or asthma.

Rooms were clean enough and tidy but very small. Just floor covering is calling for some renovation. Location is really good, there is a good restaurant nerby, bakery, Intermarché, bus stop, and the hotel is just 10 min from cable car. Breakfasts are terrible. Everyday exactly the same, scrabbled eggs were green sometimes so I am not even sure if they were fresh.

5.0 Florin Arjocu

It is a good, honest 3 stars hotel, with good location and the cherry on top is the spa. The family rooms have a door to separate the bunk beds and the queen bed, which is great for kids. The smimming pool os not huge, but good enough and the hammam and finnish sauna are godsent in a cold day.

4.0 Nev Duke

Breakfast was good, staff were nice but didn't allow us to bring our tall vehicle into the car park (there were other tall vehicles in there) & the air con was switched off even though we had a south facing room and the temperature was well over 30°C. But still a nice clean no frills place to stay. Nothing luxurious but very functional. No facilities in the room but you get what you pay for. Great view in the morning though
