Brilliant in every way!! The location is sheer perfection..step outside and you are in the centre of petit france. All the staff are incredible, polite and so professional. I had a nasty fall on the cobblestones ( beware Ladies) and all the staff asked how I was the following days!. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully furnished..turn down services and so much more. My husband and I had a massage which was divine and nothing is too much trouble. There is aircon which is needed and lifts. I could go on but I will only say if you don't book here your nuts🥰

With this hotel it's all about the location-you can't beat it in Strasbourg as it is right in the old quarter 'Petite France'. The hotel advertises itself as 5 star, though it falls short in a couple of ways. The price of the room, however is very reasonable and cheaper than any 5 star hotels I have stayed in.|Shortly before our stay they sent emails with driving directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.... the most important of which is the code to lower the bollard to let you into the pedestrian zone. On arrival the concierge took care of our bags and parked the car-super efficient. One unusual thing to note is that you cannot check into your room until after 4pm. For an old building, the hotel is surprisingly modern inside. When we did get our room it was very nice with a good bathroom and all was super-clean. Our bags arrived within 2 minutes. One other niggle was that the air conditioning wasn't working even though the weather was hot for the time of year (April) ....I understand that it is available in May, though it should have been turned on a few days early this year due to the weather. |We enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking the beautiful old timber-framed buildings while watching the World go by.|Breakfast was good, but not the extensive selection of a typical 5 star hotel. |We ate one night at one of their recommended restaurants-Fink Steubel-which was excellent and only o 3 minute walk.|Would we stay here again? Yes we would, due mainly to the great location and private parking .

Gastronauta Review- Strasbourg At Hôtel & Spa Rögent Petite France, we spent to nights with high expectations - unfortunately, the experience fell short! Marketed as a 5-star hotel, it felt, in our view, more liek a 3-4 star property at best. Upon entering, there was a strong, unpleasant smell reminiscent of a blocked drain. When we raised this with reception, the explanation given was "standing water nearby" :-) surprising, given the hotel's location by flowing water... Our first room had a clear smell of cigarette smoke, despite being no-smoking (something even the staff acknowledged. We were then moved to a rooftop room, which was charming but impractical. A very tight bathroom with a shower in the bathhub (challenging at 1.81m hight), and most critically, significant noise from the water outside, making sleep nearly impossible. After a sleepless night, we requested another room and were moved to a room on the second floor (same category), which was much better and aligned with a solid 4-star standard. What was most disappointing, howerver, was the lack of any gesture from the hotel. No goodwill, no offered drink, breakfast or similar, despite the inconvenience. Gastronauta Tip: Skip the breakfast (EUR 35 per person). It is overpriced for the limited selection. Nearby cafés offer breakfast for a whole family at the same price. Gastronauta Verdict: Not aligned with 5-star expectations. Enjoy the moments Gastronauta | Curated culinary & travel notes This reflects a personal experience

We stayed at this beautiful hotel in the heart of la petite France and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, right in the historic area. We booked a spot for our car in their garage which I would recommend if you travel by car, as there are no parking facilities close to the hotel. We arrived around 2pm. We parked our car in front of the hotel and a porter came out to help us with our luggage. As check-in was at 4pm, we decided to go for a stroll in the old town. We came back an hour later and by then our suite was available and we were able to check-in early, which turned out to be a good thing as it started pouring down soon after. The porter brought all our luggage up to our room. Our suite had nice water views, a large living room with a sofa, two armchairs, a desk and a mini bar with an expresso machine with coffee pods. The only thing missing was some coffee cream sachets. The separate bedroom was lovely and also had water views. The only aspect that we thought could be improved was the window sound insulation, especially from our bedroom window. The sound of the water rushing below our bedroom window was quite loud. From the living room, it was more subtle. But as the sound was continuous, it didn’t affect our sleep overall as it sounded like heavy rain. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional with more than enough choices and the staff was very attentive and cordial. Our stay here was really great! Thank you 😊

If you are looking for a tranquil escape where you can unwind in peace, you may want to look elsewhere. While the Hôtel & Spa RÉGENT Petite France boasts a stunning aesthetic and an unbeatable location in the heart of the historic district, the actual experience is far from serene. The building itself is immaculate—the cleanliness and amenities are top-tier, and you can’t fault the "Instagrammable" views. However, the atmosphere is surprisingly high-energy and restless. It feels more like a bustling crossroads than a quiet sanctuary. The Service GapThe most jarring part of the stay is the service. For a hotel that presents itself as a luxury spa destination, the staff interaction is disappointingly cold and inefficient.• Lack of Hospitality: Don't expect a warm welcome or proactive assistance. The service feels transactional at best and dismissive at worst.VerdictIf you just need a clean, beautiful room in a prime spot and don't mind navigating a service-less, high-traffic environment, this works. But if your goal is to be pampered in a quiet, stress-free bubble, the service hurdles here will likely leave you frustrated.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hotel was very clean, the location is excellent and close to everything, and the service truly impressed me it was more than amazing. The room was spacious with a beautiful view, which made the stay even more special. The entire staff were very kind, helpful, and always smiling, which made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. Honestly, everything was great. Special thanks to Marizia for the warm hospitality and outstanding service.

Location of the hotel is excellent for exploring Strausbourg. Short walk from the train station. Scenic. The lobby and restaurant are modern and feel high end. Service was good. Check in was easy. Our room was on the third floor. Sort of awkward to get to with the bags as ours was located on part of the floor where you need to descend a short staircase. The rooms are modern and quite large. Well appointed with closets, a room safe, TV, fridge/minibar, coffee/expresso maker, etc. Bathroom was a little bit dated and the shower is awkward to use but it gets the job done (its more of a tub with a wand than a shower). We didn't eat at the restaurant. Check out was simple. I was not able to use the spa, but I could see the jacuzzi type tub from our room window and it looked quite nice. Another thing to consider that we did not realize....we were on the third floor and it got pretty warm during the daytime the two days of our stay...this heated the room up quite a bit. I couldn't get the temperature controlled so I called the front desk. They told me that there is no air conditioning and to open a window. With the windows opened we were just fine. But I do wonder what it would be like during a hot summer month. We've been to Seattle a few times, and people there live without air conditioning, but with global warming and some of the heat waves, it can get quite uncomfortable especially for sleeping when temps reach 80 to 90+ F.

As many reviewers have noted, the location is excellent and well suited for exploring Strasbourg.||That said, our overall experience did not fully meet expectations, primarily due to the check-in process and the room allocation. I had reserved a Deluxe Room described as having a canal view, which was a key factor in choosing this hotel, as it was our first visit to the city.||We arrived approximately 30 minutes after the official check-in time, and the room was not ready until around 5:30 pm. While this can occur during a busy weekend, it was still disappointing, as it limited our ability to enjoy the city in daylight on our arrival day.||Upon entering the room, there was technically a very small glimpse of the canal; however, it was minimal and not particularly scenic, and not what one would reasonably expect when booking a room advertised as having a canal view. To see the canal more clearly required leaning out of the window and angling far to the right, which is neither practical nor reasonable, particularly in winter.||I returned to the front desk to confirm that we had been assigned the correct room category. While one staff member was reviewing the reservation and confirming that the room was classified as Deluxe with a canal view, a second staff member intervened in a forceful and highly discourteous manner. She insisted the room was correct and stated that guests who book through third-party platforms such as Expedia should not expect preferential treatment. I explained that I was not seeking preferential treatment, only the room features described at the time of booking. Her manner remained confrontational and lacked professionalism or basic customer care. The interaction was so unexpectedly rude that it left me in tears, at which point I disengaged. For the remainder of our stay, I avoided further interaction with the front desk as a result of this encounter.||Additionally, no general orientation was provided at check-in regarding hotel amenities such as
