The food was extremely good but the portions of rice were a little small and the beef chilli curry was not that spicy at all. The place looked nice but smelt quite odd.

Reply to owner since no real option to do it otherwise: I’m not being too critical as you can say. I gave my honest opinion as I always do. Good for you if you have millions of satisfied customers. These are the rules of the game, the reviews are made to let other people know what we think of an establishment. Yes I will compare this restaurant to the other hundreds of Indian restaurants I’ve eating in. I’m not the only review mentioning the high prices and low quantity. Came, tried and never coming back. It shouldn’t worry you to have a non returning customer since Everybody Else likes your place 🤔. 3 stars because it wasn’t bad, but no more because it wasn’t good / tasty. Portions were very small, the basmati rice didn’t taste like basmati rice, it didn’t have any flavor to it. The rest of the dishes all tasted the same from appetizers to main courses. I’m used to Indian restaurants, mostly in the Middle East & Paris. There, portions are very generous... 99% of the time they have that to share round chip with graines as a free appetizer to make you wait. Very expensive for the portion sizes. I’m disappointed because I was really looking for something very tasty Very welcoming staff.

Good food, I found the curry to lack a bit of strength. I know we can ask for for the food to be spicy but it was even too light. Still, really good for the price. Service is great. Room is nice. Worth a visit

Great cuisine at a great price. What's not to love about that? For 12€ per person we were so full of tasty Indian food that we moved at half pace on the way home. I like spicy food, and this was not spicy, but when I asked, I was given a bowl of delicious spicy sauce that was exactly what I wanted. So the service is great too. Highly recommended!

Great food, especially the lamb meat alongside beef and chicken. Sauces in meat are served in little pots and are very very tasty. Rice also well cooked and with meat makes a great combination. Ice cream dessert was very tasty. Service also very polite and communicative.

Out of the three Indian restaurants in Auxerre the Kashmir is the only one with a proper dry oven and therefore proper Indian food and it is very good.

Friendly and accommodating staff, allowed dogs into the restaurant. Food was good and tasty.

Excellent home-made quality, and sincere hospitality. Looking forward to stopping by on our way to Paris again.
