SCI LES GLYCINES

A nice hotel in a nice, recently renovated village. The staff are very friendly and speak both English and French. Rooms are small but seem to be on par for French hotels, I.e the shower cubicle is in the room...not in its own separate room, but in the bedroom. The restaurant are the hotel is of the.fine dining variety at a reasonable price. Portions are very small but tasty. House made lemonade is amazing.

The restaurant in this nice hotel is excellent and well worth a detour to enjoy. Great food, very nice presentation, local and high quality produce, both for the evening meal and the delicious buffet breakfast, the latter is the best value I have had in a long time! There is a great wine list and the waiter is knowledgeable and helpful. The staff are friendly and they have made a great effort to provide top quality and value. The hotel rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The rooms are basic but worth tolerating for an incredible meal -- the quality belies the cost and it won't be long until they are awarded a Michelin star, I am certain of it. From home made aperitif, digestifs and other concoctions to the creative menu which is offered as a tasting option to allow a sample of everything, you'll be amazed. Foodie heaven expressed at its most delightful Gallic best and their natural wines are superb.

Les Glycines offers a fancy, but in no way forced, wonderful experience. Between amazing food and very skilled yet friendly staff, I had a great dinner I can happily recommend anybody to try for themselves. The choice was between a slightly cheaper three course meal for 24€ offering 2 options for entrée, main course and the dessert. The a bit more expensive option at 34€ did not offer choice à la carte. Each dish, unique in its own way, whether it being a combination I hadn't had before or a simply a new way of preparation made you excited for the next dish. The waiters were both excellently trained and also very welcoming making myself feel perfectly cared for. For the price I could not wish for more. Should I ever be in the vicinity in the future I can't imagine passing the opportunity to go there again.

The food was fantastic and worth every penny. The duck was done perfectly. The staff were very helpful. Excellent place to go and worth the price. A great selection of local wines.

So it was over 100€ fir 4 persons and the meal/lunch wasn't even included, so we only drank but still had like 4€ p.p. to pay like hey do you wanna buy this house, but the doors aren't included !?
