This is really a very nice nudist place. The maintanance level is extremely high, everything is very clean (almost like Singapore or Switzerland ;-), the streets and walkways well maintained. The pool area is really outstanding, very big and again super clean and well maintained. I think it is significantly bigger than the one in Euronat, and Euronat can house 30.000 people while Jenny is probably one fourth of that. The shopping and restaurants very nice as well, Eden Restaurant with very nice service and some ambition level in the cooking. As remarked by others as well, specifically the atmoshpere is very familiar and welcoming. No alcohol abuse, no unduly behaviour, feeling always safe also for kids. Actually I was more on a workation, setting me up with big screen and printer on the front porch, and some neighbours walked over and asked me if I wouldn't like to join some of the activities. That was really nice, I think it is a strong community. This is probably because many houses seem to be privately owned and more or less permanent (summer) residencea. Also, again different from other nudist places, most people keep to the nudist agenda. Of course, nobody barefoot, I'll never understand why 99% of nudists run around in sneakers and socks... ;-) For me being barefoot is 50% of nudism and Jenny is very barefoot friendly. Due to the size you should rent or bring a bike. This is also very useful to get around outside the resort, as on the back of La Jenny there is the Velodyssee bicycle path, allowing you to reach other places by bike on a very well maintend bicycle path. Which brings me to the downsides: La Jenny is very isolated. If you are not planning to spend your time strictly in the resort, every excursion is either half an hour plus by car or one hour plus by bike. If you want to go for the bassin and try some oysters, visit the nearest Leclerc (which is quite important, as there is no wifi in La Jenny and at Orange in Leclerc you get a 250 GByte prepaid S
This is by far the best naturist holiday ever. The whole site is spread over a very large area with each chalet sited well within it. The chalet itself (Fregate) was of a good size for two with all that could be wanted both in terms of comfort and kitchen facilities. In the centre of the village there is a wealth of activities suitable for the whole family including excellent swimming pool area and plenty of sun bathing space. The village feel is continued with bar, restaurant, very good general store and regular visits from butcher, fishmonger and general market. Within an easy walk there is also a wonderful supervised beach. For the golfers among you, the feel of golfing completely naked must be experienced . However, if there is one criticism it is that, despite claims on the website that nudity is the rule, there were a great number of people not only clothed but also wearing, for example, bikinis, which are supposedly expressly forbidden. None of that distracted from the overall experience but is worthy of note. Special mention must go to the helpful reception staff and particularly to Sat, the archery instructor who really made the holiday.
This was our eighth visit to this beautiful place, where we are never disappointed. Set amongst the pine trees of the Landes forest are wooden chalets of many different sizes and styles, all offering an equal amount of sun and shade beneath the pine trees.| Nudity is strongly encouraged throughout the resort, which boasts a large pool complex, with shops, services and occasional markets. The wonderful endless beach is a short walk or even shorter bike ride away, and there is a six-hole golf course too! Besides a bar and separate restaurant, there are facilities for Archery, Yoga and craft workshops. Children are catered for with pony riding and other activities, but the main attraction for us is the tranquility, quiet and total stress reducing peace.|Miles from any towns or cities, we could wander nude and forget our problems for a whole fortnight! The staff are friendly and helpful, and we will return to la Jenny as often as possible.
We have been here several times since 2000 and we still love this very unique place. Unique of course by itself, but also being able to walk to the beautiful ocean/beach and set in the midst of the tree covered dunes where one can make very agreeable hikes and cycling tours eg to Cap Ferret. La Jenny has various tupes of houses and of course the more you pay, the bigger/the more comfort. Supermarket available.
A fantastic place where I've been several times. This time, too, I had a wonderful stay in a Bengali Plus bungalow. The 6-hole golf course, driving range, and chip and putt area were in excellent condition. The town center with shops and restaurants was cozy, as was the large swimming pool.|Where the resort lags behind is in its Wi-Fi offerings. There's limited Wi-Fi for a (hefty) fee, and only in limited locations, such as the town center. That's outdated.|The same goes for the option to charge your EV. There isn't one. In fact, charging your car is strictly prohibited. And the nearest option is 12 km away.|La Jenny, get with the times and introduce free Wi-Fi in the park, as well as the option to charge EVs.
HI|I was travelling around France and always wanted to try this experience so after a lot of research I gave La Jenny an go. And as a solo traveller I had a great experience. The reception staff were very helpful with my changing of options during my planning of my French road trip. The site is very well set out and similar to a scaled down Centrparks. My cabin was rustic but well laid out and cosy. Could have been cleaner but clean enough. Great covered decking outside with lounger and table and chairs. Private enough but still a view of the woods. I could park my car right next to the cabin.|The shop has everything so don't feel the need to bring food etc as it is normal supermarket prices. The swimming pools are great, with one being really warm and the others sun heated which were still comfortable. The beach is a nice stroll through the trees with great Atlantic waves. We used to go surfing down the coast every year so was looking forward to this. There are sand banks that affect the current but it is supervised and flagged accordingly.|Now the naked bit. The swimming pool was fully naked apart from people turning up and leaving clothed. I loved strolling around naked and its a great feeling and the experience I was looking for. However, walking around it was 70% dressed 20% t-shirt and 10% fully nude. This was the same sort of percentages around the shops and beach. |Why on earth would you book into a Naturist village and wear clothes!!? Please, if you are not into being nude, do not book here and go somewhere else, it makes it awkward for those who want to be here for what it is and spoils the experience.|I did leave a day early due to the weather and went over to the naturist village in Leucate for a few days where 100% of the people are naked all the time but its not a scratch on La Jenny's facility and location. I did feel sad leaving my cabin in the woods but will be back next year and hopefully the team at La Jenny can enforce the naturist charter to m
Very nice setting and good facilities, great place to relax and enjoy being naked. The La Jenny charter clearly states that everyone should be respectful and without clothes - however there are too many groups of people walking around in shorts and bikini's. Very disappointed that La Jenny management (despite requests) allow these groups as it is disrespectful and intimidating.
What a resort, helpful and friendly staff, clean accommodations, amazing pool, the beach is beyond words so good, the shop is well stocked, restaurant very good. I booked only a week unfortunately but I will be back next year for longer. The grounds and beach are silent and tidy and clean, all the people I have met wonderful. There is a lot of respect for each other and you can be nude all day long. I do not agree with a recent poster who said that everyone was clothed. To the beach-> nude, in the shop-> nude, pool-> nude, walking/biking round town-> nude. The staff is clothed, 1% of guests are for whatever reason but no problems with that. |Absolutely get a cabin with an outside shower and also do a beach walk, it stretches for miles and miles and miles. Also, as a solo male traveler, no ill looks or any sort of issues. Absolutely 10 out of 10, don't hesitate, just go.
