Piscine Ambiences installed our 8m x 4m heated pool recently. It was finished on time (in just 4 weeks!) and on budget. The team of excavator (Sebastien), masons, liners, travertine layers, finishers, Damian the foreman and the commercial team led by Alexandre were great. They worked hard, were friendly and tidy and despite the heavy rain and terrible conditions in the middle weeks carried on without complaint. Post completion handover with Alexandre was very helpful and clear. We have a great addition to our gites at La Saucisserie and would thoroughly recommend Piscine Ambiences for any pool project. In 2025 we requested 2 quotations from pool company’s, 1: a standard concrete formation and 2: a Fibreglass pool, the pool size was 10mX4m. The 1st quotation did not take into account that the ground sloped away from the house and therefore did not provide costs for a retaining wall, despite the fact that a site visit had taken place. It was only when I asked, was I told that no, the retaining wall had not been costed into the Devis. Also, I had mentioned that because of the nature of the ground which had a high clay content, the autumn and winter rains of 2024/2025 had raised the water table to around 4cm below ground level. This had also not been taken into account and costs had not been included. At that point I decided that if I had accepted this company’s proposal, during the construction process I would have been faced with significant extra costs The Fibreglass company, consisted of 2 separate elements, a supplier of all the parts, and a contractor to install and commission the pool, after an initial site visit, responses to my questions to the contractor became slow and incomplete, therefore I had to make repeated requests to get clarification on specific and crucial elements of the construction. It was then that I contacted Piscine Ambiences and a site visit was arranged by Alexandre Bayle their Chef de Projet. Alexandre was like a breath of fresh air; he fully understood the issue with the retaining wall and incorporated into his design, a plan to deal with excess water. Excess underground water can be a major problem with swimming pools and in extreme circumstances ground heave can be experienced. From the outset Alexandre inspired me with confidence, he knew exactly what we wanted and he knew exactly how he would deliver the project, on time and on budget. At one point during our discussions Alexandre advised me that Piscine Ambiences did not install terrace tiling, but they had a contractor who worked on their behalf, unfortunately after contacting th

We recently had a pool installed by Piscine Ambiances (Limoges) and we are extremely happy with the service we received. All the staff were polite and professional and worked extremely hard. Alexandre was our initial contact and helped design the pool for us. He kept us informed throughout and always replied swiftly to any questions. We would highly recommend this company.
