We spent a wonderful morning at Champagne Gardet, an independent family house. It was one of the most comprehensive tasting tours we've had during our holiday in the Champagne region. Francois is a cheerful and very friendly person who conveys his passion and dedication to his wines to visitors. The welcoming and colorful location is perfect for a leisurely tasting of the various high-quality champagnes the house offers. If you want to experience something different from the big houses, I highly recommend stopping by! Of course, you can't leave without buying a few bottles to take home and share with friends!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Champagne Gardet. The tasting was exceptional, and every champagne we tried was elegant, and memorable. What made the visit truly special was the warm hospitality of Francois. His passion for champagne, deep knowledge of the winemaking process, and genuine enthusiasm made the tasting both educational and enjoyable. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and appreciated the personal touch throughout the visit. We had a reservation for the guided tour + guided tasting and it was absolutely perfect. François gave lots of information during the guided tour which was very interesting and taught us much about the process of making champagne. The guided tasting was perfect as well, the champagnes tasted very well and we were provided detailed information about the different champagnes too. All in all, we would definitely recommend a visit to Gardet Champagne when close by! 🥂🥰

Very highly recommended this visit experience. Best way to book is to call them directly or to follow them on instagram and send them a message. We are a gay couple and big wine snobs, this was our first experience in the champagne region. It was perfect way to start the day / our stay. The overall experience was very welcoming and they have a wide variety of options for all tastes, we love their zero dosage ones which are hard to find, while being incredibly flavorful. Our tasting host was beyond amazing. We ended up buying 18 bottles to ship back and their process for the price per bottle is very straightforward. We look forward to a visit again during our next visit to the region!!

Sitting out in the back garden with a perfectly chilled bottle is nothing short of sublime. In fact, considering the sheer quality of the wine and the exclusivity of the setting, purchasing a bottle to enjoy on-site feels like the ultimate travel hack. The experience is remarkably accessible—decidedly cheaper than a budget flight, yet it transports you to a headspace that no economy seat ever could. Stylistically, Gardet is a breath of fresh air. It feels much more authentic and "French classic" than the slick, hyper-modernized reception areas of the famous in-town commercial houses. Our visit to Champagne Gardet was truly a highlight and an experience we will remember for a long time. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into a house with deep roots and genuine passion for champagne. The guided tour through the cellar was both atmospheric and educational. Walking among the bottles resting in the cool, quiet chalk cellars gave us a real sense of the craftsmanship and patience behind every cuvée. There is something special about seeing where the magic happens, where time, tradition, and precision come together. François led the tour, and his storytelling made all the difference. He shared the history of the house and the production process in a way that was engaging, detailed, and easy to understand. It was clear from the very beginning how deeply passionate he is about champagne. His enthusiasm was contagious, and we left with a far greater appreciation not only for the technical aspects of production, but also for the philosophy and dedication behind each bottle.

Amazing tasting experience. Each of us had 8 glasses of wine and thanks to François’ passion we had the best explanation of his knowledge and love for his work. We feel grateful and enriched by having spent two hours in this beautiful location. Highly recommended.
