Such a great place to spend an afternoon. We had so much fun in the 3d /4d game room. But all the other things are definitely worth visiting.
Great space to visit with family. Cinema, climbing wall, great industrial architecture all to be enjoyed. Book shop and library. Food court also available for some lunch. I recommend getting there by cable car. Fun day out.
A perfect place to spent a few hours for relacation, inline skating, climbing and amazig food. Gondola is super fun (one goes above the other), and the view on old castle is amazing. Perfect also for rainy day. Well done Brest😎
I am fascinated by the current trend to reutilise old industrial facilities. Here in Brest they have gone one better, not only revitalising the massive machine hall but also preserving some of the old machines which worked there. Its a great opportunity to marvel at the technology that fabricated our past. Along side the old there is the new, modern start ups, micro brewery, food hall and coffee bar. The you step out on to the belvedere, a great view and then take a ride in a "ski lift". A place not to be missed.
I like the idea. You can come here and make the activity you want. You can organize activities. You can dance, ride bike and skate. It's a huce indoor activity, art and wxhibition place.
A big library with lots of space for people who want to read or work, but it is not very silent because many children playing around
Sunday night. 200,000 square feet. Nothing. One guy doing tai chi or something. Dead. This is the big thing in Brest ? Yikes. This after the soul deadening experience of Oceanopolis. What’s with this “city” ? Thankfully driving back to the charming towns tomorrow. Ciao Brest. It’s funny, looking at the other reviews they say how great it is then post pictures of a totally empty dead environment. Party on !
It's a cool multifunctional space, refurbished from a naval factory but that's pretty much. There's an ice cream shop, some co-working spaces, a cinema and the ocean museum but apart from the last one there's not much to do. There're only a few posters concerning the history of the building so if you don't have something specific to do there it won't keep you busy for long.
