Des Lits sur la Place is simple accommodations excellently executed. The building is an older building that has retained its charm. I was impressed by how the rooms are painted, with a pleasing sponging effect, and handprinted trim. The entire experience was filled with attention to this kind of detail. The breakfast was the best I had on this trip, with homemade jams, breads and cakes. Marion was attentive and helpful. Dinner in the attached restaurant was very good.

Beautiful renovation with deep natural pastel coloured interiors. Well equipped rooms, comfy bed. And ... a lovely restaurant next door. Marion the hotelier/ host couldn't have been more friendly attentive and helpful. Well priced and definitely "Vaut le detour" It was a pleasure to call this place home for 2 nights.

We stayed at Marion and Thierry's chambres d'hotes for two nights but we would have been happy to stay longer. Our room was very comfortable and led out onto the terrace, where we could enjoy a drink and aperos. The small kitchen was much appreciated. We looked forward to the dinners each night and they were original and very much appreciated. There was an excellent choice of breakfast items and we were well looked after by Marion.

A lovely little place to spend a few days. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The terrace was amazing. We wished we had more time to spend there. Rooms are on the top floor with lovely views of the village. The stairs offered some exercise after our lovely dinners at L’Ocre Rouge. Marion gave us recommendations for hikes in the area that we appreciated. We will return.

We were here on business and our wonderful host, Michele, recommended this hotel. We arrived earlier than check in time and we able to check into our room. The rooms are updated in this full of history building. The room and bed was comfortable with a window that opened to the beautiful mountains and town. There were not many places to park a car, but we were lucky and found a spot right outside the hotel. The town is small, but quite pleasant to walk around. The breakfast was delicious with various selections. I enjoyed the homemade custard and breads. We highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant attached to the hotel, l'Ocre Rouge Restaurant. One of our best meals ever!!

We enjoyed our short time here. The proprietress was helpful and friendly, breakfast was stellar (and served on the pretty terrace), the air conditioning and WiFi both worked well, and we slept like babies. The highlight of the stay, though, was definitely dinner in the restaurant-- book a table!

We stayed for three nights in October 2014. A husband and wife team who make you feel welcome, at home and provide a lovely breakfast and a very high quality restaurant next door. It is in a small, unremarkable town, but there is interesting countryside, history, good walking and many places to visit locally. Strongly recommended.

My husband and I and friends stayed at Des lits sur la place last May during our bike trip along the greenway. I cannot express how beautiful it was! Marion and her chef husband Thierry were so gracious. The breakfast was delicious. I can only hope to be able to go back again and stay longer. And next time, I want to eat in their beautiful restaurant! Carole Davis
