This hotel was perfectly fine for our one night stay in Bayonne. Parking was at a garage just beyond the train station, nice receptionist, small elevator to our good sized room. Including a good sized bathroom, There was construction going on out front which made driving difficult but fine otherwise. Can't believe it only gets 79 for walkability, it's just a quick walk over the bridge into the thick of things. It's old but that was fine.

I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Bayonne, Biarritz and Guéthary. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. It was a good base to return at the end of the busy day. However, I heard a lot of noise from the corridor (closing doors etc.).

Great hotel! Very conveniently located close to the train station and a short walk across the bridge to the old town of Bayonne with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and bars around. The staff is very friendly and they speak English. The room was comfortable and very clean and the shower very hot and strong. The breakfast is also a good value. I highly recommend!

Very close to railway station. Very clean. Facilities in room is tidy and very approachable. Towels are supplied with no extra fees. Overall it is a good choice.

We had booked one of the superior rooms which we were very pleased with. On the 4th floor, light and spacious, with a view towards the city centre. The furnishings and bathroom were a bit basic but it was good value for the price and very clean. The lift only accommodates 1 person at a time if you have luggage, but not a problem. The hotel is very close to the railway station and has bus and tram stops outside - extremely convenient but a little noisy. It's about a 10 minute walk to the old town. There's not much in the way of restaurants close by. We had breakfast at the hotel which was a pretty standard continental breakfast - nothing exciting but plenty to eat. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for a 1 or 2 night stopover.

Stayed here before walking the Camino Baztanes, and really liked it. Yes, the elevator is tiny...but there IS an elevator! And the room was simple and beautiful with a surprising amount of space. Incredibly convenient to the train station, but a bit of a walk to the Cathedral and the old centre of Bayonne. A nice walk. 😊

Customer service was great and the room was clean. The location was excellent as it was close to the train station and the bus stop is right in front. Only issue was in room 17 you can hear everyone coming into the hotel and walking in or out their room. Did not get a good night sleep.

Hotel is ok. Great location near the station. Nice breakfast and staff but the room is tiny and very basic - bug clean. Very small bathroom and thin thin thin bath towels! No tea and coffee facilities in the room. The bed was fine and as mentioned the room was ok but very small and clean. We were on the fifth floor and acces via a dodgy old elevator!
