“We had a really great stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was also very convenient and made it easy to get around. We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant as we chose to go to a nearby pizza place instead, but overall our experience was excellent and we would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here whilst visiting Disneyland & Paris. We arrived earlier than check-in but were allowed access to our upgraded rooms. |On arrival the hotel smelled amazing & the reception is beautiful designed.|Check in was easy & the rooms were lovely, modern & clean. We had refurbished rooms. We were B&B the breakfast was plentiful, we had an evening meal on the second evening this was also enjoyable. |The hotel itself appears to be in a bit of a commercial area however the rooms were quiet & the beds were so comfy.|Great value for money.
Stayed here for 3 nights pre- and post-Disneyland. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, tidy, big enough for a family of 4. There's a little play area in the garden and a small ball court which were great for running off steam in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and a brilliant range of foods to enjoy. We had dinner 3 times and the food was amazing every time!
The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and welcoming. For a relatively inexpensive hotel stay you can do a lot worse than this. However a car is definitely advised. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere save for some surrounding industrial units. There are two nearby restaurants within 5 min walking distance but no shops and no easy links to public transport. The nearest RER stations are Bussy Saint Georges and Torcy and are each at least a 45 minute walk along main roads from the hotel (not ideal with young kids)||We used it as a base to get to and from Disneyland. We had planned on getting a train into Disneyland from hotel but given how far we had to walk to the station we ended up getting Ubers each way every day. On reflection I would have hired a car.
First 2 nights the aircon was turned off but we could open the window. 3rd night we returned to find that someone had closed the window and it would not open. Staff said window was jammed, there was nothing they could do and the aircon had been turned on but was on the lowest setting so basically didn’t do anything to cool the room. They provided 3 fans to help us but refused to move us to another room. No compensation offered. It was 24 degrees outside and extremely hot in the room. I was travelling with a 3 year old and 5 year old. I have now cancelled the next 2 reservations (one in July and one in August) as having a window that won’t open (according the staff they jam all the time) and poor air con is not acceptable in the summer.
The hotel is very clean, location is excellent, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is consistent and very tasty (the children were very happy with it). The window curtains are very thick and you can make night out of the day; the windows are sturdy, absolutely no mold. The only downside - the soundproofing of the rooms is not quite good, we could hear the neighbors nearby "playing with each other and jumping in the bed..." (that's what our childrens said 🤭🫣)... The toilet air exhaust could also be improved (e.g. fixed). Very nice idea with the water dispenser on the hallway (cold, sparkling, normal), visible initiatives to eliminate single-use plastic packaging.
I stayed at Novotel for three nights, and honestly, I still can’t decide whether to laugh or cry at how terrible the experience was. For a hotel that’s a whole hour away from the city centre, you’d think they’d at least try to make up for the location with decent service or basic comfort. Instead, the place feels more like a questionable 3-star hotel pretending to be something it’s absolutely not. First of all, the window blinds couldn’t even be wound down, a pretty impressive failure for a hotel room, considering blinds are… well, basic. No hotel slippers either, which is just another reminder that they’ve given up on providing even the simplest amenities. Charging my phone? Forget it. The outlets were so slow that I’m convinced a power bank from 2010 would’ve done a better job. And some of the restaurant staff? Clearing plates like they’re angry at the world. Bad-tempered, rude, and acting as if customers are an inconvenience. It really adds to the “wow, why did I book this place?” experience. The cherry on top was the room card situation. Every single day, our card magically disappeared, it got removed from the reader system. Every. Day. Imagine coming back tired, only to take a walk of shame back to reception to get a new card because apparently their system resets for fun. Absolutely ridiculous and unbelievably stupid. Overall? This hotel was a complete disaster. Terrible service, annoying issues, and definitely not worth its rating. I won’t be returning . once is more than enough. 😭
Construction work going on, AC-not working, water leaking from roof. No any info that hotel is renovating rooms. There was also some sport team (over 20 young people) on same floor and behind the wall (noisy). Not the best option because we were travelling with young child (9 years)
