Beautiful, romantic hotel tucked away in the mountains. A wonderful place to rest and recharge after exploring the côte d’azur. It was challenging for us to drive up the mountain, but it was totally worth it. Make sure to make a reservation for dinner at the popular restaurant to enjoy the high quality of the food and the lovely service. Especially the fish dishes and desserts were incredibly tasty. A few points of improvement: when showering, some of the water splashed on the bathroom floor. A glass door could prevent this. Furthermore, it would be nice to have more hot food options for breakfast, like scrambled eggs and bacon. Overall we truly enjoyed our experience here and would love to come back in the future!
What a beautiful auberge away from the hustle of Nice. Gorgeous gardens to relax in (when it’s not raining!!) and such lovely kind staff especially Marie. Dinner was absolutely top notch, no wonder booking is advised and so many locals were eating there even on a Tuesday night. Very comfortable bed and brilliant continental breakfast with perfect breads and excellent coffee. Definitely a go to now when embarking or disembarking a cruise at Nice accepting you are 30 minutes from town but only 30 to the airport also. We will be back!!
Amazing stay at the Rédier! I would like to highlight the quality of our time at the hotel & restaurant. The restaurant sets up a high standard in terms of food, but also service. We could appreciate a singular attention to details with elegance and style. The menu offers fine savors in a gastronomy that encompass the regional tradition. The owners kindly spend time to meet the client, with humility and professionalism. All this in a relaxed area of Colomars, surrounded by the mountains. The large terrace has been recently renovated with a nice design. All very accessible and a visually very pleasant environment. We will come back very soon!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel tucked away in the hills of the French countryside. It offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and accessibility, with a bus stop conveniently located right outside that takes you straight into Nice town – ideal if you’re looking to explore without needing to drive. The staff were lovely and very professional, especially when handling our late check-in. Although the reception closes at 9pm, they stayed in communication with us and made the process smooth and stress-free. We also extended our late check-out for €20 per hour, which was helpful, but something to keep in mind if you’re planning a slower morning. The on-site restaurant was a real highlight. The food was absolutely delicious, and the red wine – truly out of this world. A thoughtful touch we really appreciated was that they allow you to store your unfinished bottle of wine behind the counter, so you can enjoy it later – very accommodating and personal. The pool area was serene and a great spot to unwind with a book, though the water was surprisingly cold even when the temperature hit 28°C. Still, the calm atmosphere made up for it. There’s plenty of parking on site, and for added security, the gates close at night, though access is easy via an intercom system. Breakfast was decent, though slightly underwhelming – it was a cold selection with cereals, yogurts, self-serve boiled eggs, a range of teas, and no traditional hot options like an English breakfast. If you’d like coffee, just ask a staff member and they’ll bring one over to you. Inside, the hotel is tastefully decorated – bouji yet welcoming – with clean, comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. We loved the little communal touches: a space to play chess, flavoured water for refreshment, and a cosy reading room with sofas that added to the home-away-from-home vibe. All in all, a peaceful and elegant stay – ideal for a relaxing break with a touch of French charm.
We had a lovely stay at the hotel Auberge du Rédier. The building itself is charming and the surroundings are peaceful and picturesque. The room was clean, well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice hotel in the mountains of Nice, very classy. Pool was amazing and the hotel staff was super friendly. Some of the rooms could benefit from a little do-over but otherwise very stylish as well. The terrace is super and the food was very tasty! Thanks for the nice stay
We had a wonderful stay here, the location was soo beautiful and the staff were friendly. They also spoke great English which was helpful! I thought the price was very reasonable considering the quality of the room and outdoor pool space available though we did go in September. Would definitely recommend to visit here and eat at the restaurant!
Hands down it is such a cool spot to stay there. Close enough to the hectic Nice but enough tucked away to relax. The staff is very attentive and their food is delicious. Coming back for sure!
