We stopped for lunch here while on a tour. I had the fish and chips and the cheesecake. This fish was very fresh tasting and the chips were excellent with no fishy taste so often found in restaurants fries. The cheesecake was rich and creamy. Our server was wonderful and attentive. A good choice for a quick lunch.
We stopped here for dinner after a long day traveling from London. We walked the full length of the harbour checking out the restaurants and liked the look of this one. We were given a window seat to watch the sun go down, we ordered our wine, beer and food. The scallops were great, and unexpectedly, came with mashed potato which was a surprisingly good. The fish (cod) was fantastic. The service was the highpoint that made the experience unforgetable.
We had dinner here as we were in Dieppe for the ferry. Vegetarian lasagne and the carbonara were both delicious, and our server Elodie was both friendly and extremely professional!
Service was amazing and so was the location. Food was great and great pricing too!
The restaurant was really nice inside, nice atmosphere however my choice of food I had to leave as I could not physically chew it! I had steak and the staff we not even bothered I had left 90% of it. They take your money and clearly do not do anything to improve. My gut feel about some of the reviews should have been enough to have not gone. My wife's Cesar Salad was great so not all was lost. There are much better restaurants near by.
Everyone's dishes around me looked amazing. Then I got my seafood platter and realized everything was shellfish. I was pretty mortified. Not the restaurant's fault at all, but it was expensive and I could not even eat it, so it was a bit sad. The shrimp still had its big black eyes and long whiskers and was staring into the depths of my soul- I could not eat him. I realized that I do not like shellfish. I was hoping for raw fish. The desserts were incredible though. The crème brûlée had a glassy torched top and the cream was a smooth and delicate consistency. The profitarolls were also delicious.
The restaurant seems to have gone downhill - service was rude and disorganised, the portion size of beef fillet had been significantly reduced I guess to cut costs, the ‘fish of the day’ was tasteless, overcooked and dry. Disappointing last meal of our holiday in France - and by far the worst. We’d eaten here several times over the years before catching the ferry home but won’t return.
Excellent restaurant. We had the mussels and they were delicious and the dish was huge. Same with the deserts. I had the brownie and it was gorgeous and would have been enough for two. The service was very efficient but friendly at the same time. The place is nice and spacious, and they also allow dogs inside. We had a wonderful meal in a friendly place and I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
