Really enjoyed my Valentine’s Day meal here! Special menu. They accommodated us even after being full. Very sweet! Food was well seasoned. Kept true to its afghan roots but had French influence. Looking forward to going back to try the other dishes.

One of the best meals I've had in years, and by far the best one in Tours during my week long stay. I believe a meat eater would enjoy all the dishes we tried, and they did have a few meat items, but as a vegetarian in Tours this was a godsend. We had basically eaten nothing but cheese in various forms for three meals a day for the week here (which is not actually as great as it sounds), and were thrilled with the complex, delicious, healthy and filling options here. I walked away astounded by the food. Myself and another guest got the three course option each, so after trying 6 dishes plus their house blend Afghan tea, my mind is blown. Also, can recommend the Afghan primitivo wine, it was so good! Do recommend reservations, but we were lucky to get a table for two without. The ambiance is surprising given the outside appearance and it's location, what a cute oasis inside! Pictures don't do it justice. The server was so gracious and kind with our French language barrier. He took the time to translate every item from Afghan/French to us, helped us identify what squash was in one of the dishes, told us his method of making the fabulous Firni dessert (to die for), and spoke to me about Afghan wine varietals, all through his own language barrier. What a lovely date night, a meal I'll remember for a long time, and a welcome vegetarian's haven in this town. Would absolutely come here every time we're in town.

This was a wonderful restaurant. It’s beautifully decorated and the food was outstanding. I’ve never had Afghani food before, but it was delicious and would definitely go back.

I needed a quick lunch before catching the only bus running to see my friends. I had palow de boeuf slow cooked beef with spiced rice. Very nice with a glass of local red wine. I hope to return when I have more time. Highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant. The food is great and very well made. I had the beef kabuli, the meat was very well prepared and very tender, the rice was amazing also. Great ambiance and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I was hoping for a good meal and the restaurant exceeded my expectations by a lot.

Beautiful location, wonderful and attentive service, outstanding food. We’ve had aghan cuisine several times and Kabuli is the top choice is an excellent category. The atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful. Will be dining here again.

If you're like me and searching for a restaurant in France that isn't shy with spices/seasoning, this is the place! Incredibly delicious and plenty of options for vegans/vegetarians.
