SCI HOTEL FLEURS DES SABLES

Hotel isn’t bad, but there is no spa. If you are handicap, you need to take biger room.Toilet and bath in other room are too small. The heat didn’t work.The breakfast was ok.The guy at the réception was so kidned and helpfull. The pool is ok but the room and water not very hot. Once you are wet you get cold fast, too bad it was nice to enjoy a swim.

Like others commented, definitely not a 4 star hotel. You will hear the neighbours above you. Tiny toilet and very average bathroom. They will charge you the price of a real 4 stars though. 2 big luggage can't be opened in the room (too small). Stay away if you have an option. Some 5 star comments are fake for sure. The location is good.

We had a very good stay after a long day of cycling and appreciated the availability of the swimming pool. Very well equipped and comfortable room. Possibility to store our bikes. Bufet dinner very good - choice of three hot dishes plus salads and desserts - the sooner you come the warmer the dishes and bigger the choice. Wine available with dinner was fine. Also good enough selection for breakfast.

Rooms are small and only one wardrobe as the other is locked and apparently contains a microwave and sink although there does not seem to be an option to self cater. There were no hooks in the room for ski gear which is unusual in a ski resort hotel. There is a pool but it is tiny so we didn't bother with it. Housekeeping was not great and although the bins were emptied, the new bag was just laid across it for you to put it in the bin yourself. Not what you expect at all. Breakfast was good and plentiful and varied but chaotic. The staff could not seem to get on top of clearing the used tables so you invariably had to wait. They also ran out of cups and bowls every morning which became a bit wearing. The hotel is described as 10 minutes from the lift. This is untrue. It is possibly 10 minutes walking swiftly but wearing or carrying ski boots and carrying skis it is more like 20 minutes. On the upside you can pay for lockers to store your stuff by the lifts. The hotel bar is in the main entrance which has automatic doors so every time someone comes into the hotel you are treated to an icy blast.

Stayed here with Crystal Ski. Staff were wonderful and helpful. The rooms were adequate, while the beds were very comfortable the pillows were odd and took some getting used too. The toilet and bathroom were separate which is a good idea. There is not much room for clothes a wardrobe and a few shelves we ended up living our of the suitcase most of the week. I'm guessing most people starting here are skiing so a bit more clothing/drying space would be good. For some reason the wall sockets were covered up so we only had two usable sockets so phones/devices had to be charged away from the bed which was a bit of a nuisance. The food was fine, various options each night some good, some not. Puddings were generally good. The big drawback is that the temptation is also the bar - which means there is not much seating and no atmosphere. It's not a bad hotel, and it's good enough for food and rest.

We had a most enjoyable stay at this hotel in Briançon. It's quite centrally located; everything in the lower town is within walking distance. The upper town is easily reached from the hotel. Great views of the mountains from the room. The staff was friendly and welcoming, gave us lots of good information about sights and where to eat. Good restaurants nearby. Excellent hotel breakfast. Comfortable room. Quiet.

Just stayed here for a couple of days while touring in Europe. Great hotel, small but nice rooms, lovely staff and great breakfast we would definitely stay here again

Beautiful place, suitable for families! Also our hostess Fatin did an excellent job on explaining everything what we needed from A to z, because people here doesn’t really speak english well and it was kinda hard to understand where to find some places but she did an excellent job! Thank you for hospitality.
