We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is perfectly Cars themed and my grandsons (2 1/2) eyes lit up as soon as we drove in. The reception was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but full of fun Cars details. The grounds have a true Santa Fe feeling and are perfectly tended. The tiny “highway” that connects all the buildings is a perfect touch. The walk over to the Park is gorgeous and feels like a tour through a botanical garden. We had a wonderful stay and made many lasting memories for our family.

Lovely, convenient hotel with comfortable beds. The reception team are helpful and polite. Had no problems at all. About 10-15 mins from hotel to village with a beautiful walk by the river where you’ll see lots of different river birds and really big fish. About 15-20mins walk from hotel into the park. Lovely shampoo and conditioners are in the bathroom waiting for you so no need to bring some. Plenty of plugs and storage for clothes. Don’t forget to take full advantage of the hot drinks vending machine which are free. Make your selection and then tap your room/park entrance card on the payment card part and it makes your drink completely free. Spacious bathroom and 2 double beds in the room, definitely not cramped at all. It was my second time using this hotel and I prefer staying here to Newport Bay where I stayed in September.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the park. The rooms are quite small, and there is no wardrobe for clothes, but there is a dresser with enough space to store your belongings. A shuttle bus runs to the park every 5 minutes, which is very convenient. The food is decent, although the coffee is unfortunately not very good. On the positive side, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel is good for a Disneyland trip. Since most of the time is spent in the park rather than in the hotel, it serves its purpose well and provides a comfortable base for the visit.

The only magical thing about this hotel is that we all survived it. Disney is busy pouring money into renovating Disney Village, yet somehow air conditioning in the hotels didn’t make the cut. Apparently the Imagineers imagined guests sweating through the night as part of the immersive experience. To make matters worse, Disney thoughtfully removed the pull cord from the in-room fan so guests can enjoy exactly one setting: “gentle disappointment.” The single window opens about four inches, only to let heat in. Yes, I know Europe isn’t as air-conditioning obsessed as Americans. We came prepared with portable fans and realistic expectations. What we didn’t expect was to feel like we were spending the night inside a toaster oven sponsored by Mickey Mouse. The real pixie dust came when my husband and daughter returned to the room midday and found our hotel room door standing wide open while housekeeping was inside. My husband immediately noticed money missing from his wallet. When he reported it to the front desk, their response was essentially, “Sounds like a police problem.” Excuse me? We’re international travelers leaving the next day. How about investigating your own staff before sending guests on a scavenger hunt through the French legal system. The happiest place on Earth? Not this hotel. This one felt more like Disney’s Tower of Terror: Sweaty Wallet Edition.

I had one of the most magical stays here. The staff were helpful, my boyfriend loved that there was a free coffee machine. The hot chocolate of the machine was amazing. You could easily walk back from the park to the hotel, it would take around 20 minutes. The rooms were decorated in theme with the hotel. I absolutely loved it.

What a disappointment, by far the worst Disney park and hotel. Yes it is Disney, but lower end. Poor quality, maintenance and very little in the way of maintaining the company’s standards. Looks like Europeans have gotten so used to bad, they have no idea what good looks like. Honesty spend the money on plane tickets and visit another Disney Resort. This resort is one day max. Do it as a day trip and don’t stay at the resort. The lack of quality, attention to detail and overall concern for guest experience is shocking. I won’t visit again. My favorite experience was watching someone smoke while walking through the park, passing a group of four staff whom said nothing, and seeing the guy toss his cigarette into the storm drain in front of the ride. The second best was standing in line for ice cream for over an hour to realize the delay was two incompetent staff working the store. When the European staff showed up the line started moving and people got served in a reasonable time frame. The decline in Europe is fully on display, even at Disney Parks. Congratulations you have rushed to the bottom.

This hotel really shows its age now. Needs a deep clean and a refurb.||Hauling your luggage up external steps is no fun if you are unlucky enough to get an upstairs room. ||The breakfast food is fine, but the queueing is chaotic. ||Breakfast info for parents: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, veggie sausage, cheeses, hams, crusty bread rolls, butter, jams, milk, cereal, maple syrup, yoghurt, Mickey waffles, croissants, baked beans, pain au chocolat. Good orange juice, apple juice, water, coffee. Don’t go in the last half an hour of the buffet. ||Good little shop and a Starbucks on site. Friendly staff on the luggage although they did not send our luggage on the last day which caused an issue. No “Disney magic” welcome on reception. Make sure you have your booking ref as your name is not enough. ||Absolutely no frills - to the point that you will have to turn one of your paper cups into a soap rest and might need to divvy up the tiny thin towels. ||Shuttle bus to and from the parks was surprisingly good although no queuing system exists. ||Each person’s card is the room key which works really well.
