We booked two nights at Villa Genesis. This was a stay to coincide with going to Mirazur for their 20th anniversary menu dinner.|We were not sure what to expect .Although the hotel was clearly going through some maintenance in readiness for the high season, we thought it was extremely comfortable and we had a great Junior Suite from which we could see the sea-it is not an unrestricted view as you look over two roads and in between buildings, but great nonetheless. And you feel the sea air!|The decor and presentation of the accommodation was very impressive, and nicely located on a corner of the property on the first floor.|Worth knowing that the hotel does not have a full restaurant, but you can have a very filling (optional) breakfast, and on our first night, the concierge arranged a wonderful dinner at a nearby French bistro called Le Bistro des Jardins.|Our thanks to Ferdinando, Anne-Violaine, Daniel and the rest of the team for a great stay and, in particular, to Daniel for telling Mirazur it was our wedding anniversary. The cake surprise the gave us at the end of the evening was a highlight of that dinner!

The smallest room I have ever stayed in among all European hotels. There isn't even a hot water kettle. Extra charge for parking which should be waived considering there is no other facility that's available for guests, including a pool that's not functioning. Overall a very basic hotel not deserving of its asking price.

We stayed as a couple in one of the double rooms, it was immaculate and well decorated. The hotel is styled so well and the pool was a welcome treat after a day in the heat. |Location wise we thought the hotel was perfect, everything was walkable, even the station for when we arrived and day trips to Monaco and Nice. |I would love to stay again and highly recommend it.

An excellent hotel in a great location. 2 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins walk to the old town. Everything about this hotel is of a high standard. The staff are polite, helpful and attentive. The pool is lovely and the breakfast is really varied and of a high quality. The building itself is fabulous with high ceilings and amazing chandeliers. I recommend a private transfer to and from the airport which can be organised by the hotel. It’s 120 euros but efficient and comfortable.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms are newly decorated and immaculately clean, featuring lovely grey and blue tones. I stayed in room 201, which had a beautiful garden and sea view. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were excellent. Although I didn't have breakfast, my friends did and they mentioned it was plentiful and very fresh.||The staff were very friendly without being overbearing. The pool is gorgeous and doesn't get too busy. The hotel provides towels for the pool, and there are flip-flops in the room for use at the pool or the beach. The location is great, with the old town about a 15-minute walk away. The walk is lovely, with the ocean on one side and a big promenade on the other.||Menton is a charming town, bustling during the day with a great market area to explore. At night, it's pretty quiet, so don't expect wild nightlife, but we still had a great time with some drinks and lovely food. I'm really glad we stayed here; it was a fantastic place for a weekend getaway with friends. Thank you!

I was extremely happy with the accommodation and service at this charming stylish hotel in beautiful Menton, France during August 2025. The hotel is a 45-minute drive from the Nice airport and the hotel staff can arrange an airport transfer pick-up or drop-off for guests for a specified cost. The hotel is in a beautiful building which has been recently refinished and is very elegant. The rooms are clean, modern, attractive and comfortable. The hotel has a security gate on the street and the rooms each have a safe. The breakfast room and nearby small bar area are beautifully decorated. You must pay each time you eat at the buffet breakfast in the hotel but the food is delicious with some rotation of new items each day. Coffee drinks are made by the staff to your specifications. The pool area is very clean and pretty and very relaxing and it has a nearby toilet/shower area. The staff at Villa Genesis are all lovely people who are polite, friendly and helpful at all times. They really make you feel at home. It was fun to have a drink at the bar and chat with the staff member who was making the drinks. A big thank you for the wonderful service during our stay to Daniel, Hugo, Anne-Violaine, Chiara, Giselle, Thomas and all the others whose names we didn’t learn! We really enjoyed interacting with you all! The hotel is quiet because it’s not located on the main street along the beach, but it’s only a short walk away from the beach. I enjoyed the nearby Solenzara private beach facility. I also enjoyed taking a 10-minute Uber drive to the start of the 5 km (one way) Roquebrune-Cap-Martin coastal trail along the waterfront which ends at picturesque Plage du Buse which is a public beach with a little restaurant east of Menton in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. I really enjoyed Menton’s main city area and the Old Town (30-minute walk) and if I visit this delightful city again, I would look forward to staying at the Villa Genesis Hotel once more.

We had a pleasant stay here at Villa Genesis although would say there are a few rooms for improvement, especially for a five star hotel. ||We had a few issues with our room whilst staying, including a very leaky shower (everytime it was on, it would spill out into the floor) and whilst the hotel did move us to another room, it seems all showers have been built this way as that didn't improve and happened in the new room. For a five star hotel, I was a bit shocked that in a hot country they don't provide you with new water everyday (but instead you need to go downstairs and charge you for a tiny bottle). The pool are was very lovely although the jacuzzi part wasn't working whilst we stayed there. ||The aircon is also controlled centrally so you have to call down to reception to get this changed rather than being able to do it yourself, and in the new room we couldn't ever get it lower than 23 degrees (which considering it was 33 degrees when we stayed there we wanted it a bit cooler!) ||Otherwise very easy walkable to the town centre in about 15 mins. Lots around the area, including beaches, some lovely restaurants and supermarkets (to stock up on some water!)

Villa Genesis is a fabulous hotel. Our room was very comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The variety, presentation and taste of the food at breakfast could not be bettered. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and a pleasure to deal with. This was our second visit and we hope to return.
