Avis
skiing for all levels, affordable prices, a family atmosphere, a warm welcome! The real mountain. Dynamic station with regular news, tracks, activities .. the possibility of opening the tracks with the trackers is great. Negative points: remind the staff of the lifts to enforce the safety instructions...backpacks in front, etc.
Nice place for ski but you really need to get there as early as possible, limited parking space and over the weekend can be a bit crowded.
Perfect ! The botanical park is very beautiful. The view is perfect.
A really great small ski resort with everything you need for a fantastic day out or ski holiday.
Great Family oriented ski resort with easy Skiing. In July and August one lift is open for walking , mountain biking or hire of off-road scooters . The walk up Arla 2044 m has an easy way direct from the top of the chairlift , or a harder scramble , from the direction 180 degrees from the chairlift . There is also a great walk to the pic d Annie , 4 hours up 3 hours down . Take plenty of water and only attempt it on a cloudless day . Sunscreen , hat , water and some fruit or snacks are recommended in summer .
We visited in August for the bike park- we only had 1 day but an excellent bike park (2 blues, 2 reds and 1 black) with really very friendly staff
I have fond memories of coming to LPSM as a kid, but unfortunately things have declined immeasurably since. The resort is dilapidated and in desperate need of investment. Global warming is affecting most ski resorts, but they use snow machines and other methods to ensure minimal disruption to visitors. LPSM does not bother with this, instead it chooses to close the majority of the slopes on any given day. The slopes that stay open are covered in mud and rocks, making them extremely dangerous. They still charge full price for the ski passes, despite only 15% of the pistes being open. It’s no wonder hardly anyone comes here anymore. We visited during half term in February - peak season, yet the resort is practically dead. I can’t imagine it will remain open much longer. A sad fate for a once decent little resort.
Beautiful views and exciting road through the pass. Highly recommended for motorcyclists and very, very good cyclists. Watch out for livestock herds on the roads.
