SCI LE CLOS DU PONT

We had made arrangements for another B&B not far from this one, and were unpleasantly surprised to find out that the booking did not go through. We contacted Daniel last minute and he received us immediately: once we were in his property, our vacation became a real pleasure in this very well maintained home with a beautiful garden. The room was very spacious, calm, pretty and equipped with everything one needs. Breakfast is good and discussions with Daniel were always pleasant and helpful. We felt comfortable during our stay, and the house is superbly decorated. We are now back in Vancouver with great even if unplanned memories.

My family and I stayed at this lovely location for a week and absolutely loved it. The area around lends well to hiking and long walks. It's also close to St. Malo, Dinard, and other larger cities in the vicinity. The cleanliness and general service is excellent. I always got excited at the prospect of the breakfasts. They are simple, but extremely nourishing (cheese, pastries, fruit salads, cereals, breads, etc.). The owners have a gentle presence and are very friendly and accomodating. My husband and I would definitely go again. What a gem!

We stayed here during a walking holiday in Brittany. We enjoyed our room, so quiet and spacious, and the breakfasts were tasty. The only down side is that as we were walkers, there were no restaurants reasonably close for us to walk to, but Daniel arranged for us to ride with some other guests to a creperie about 10 minutes' drive away (which was awesome). Their little poodle Fiji was a delight, also :)

Against our principles to go on a trip in the middle of high season in Europe we ended up at the the north coast of Brittany in this Bed and Breakfast near Saint Briac sur Mer. Our room was exactly as in the pics of their site. Comfortable bed, rugs, antiques , small but comfy bathroom with good shower, all clean. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. ||The weather was very hot and our room was upstairs at the west side with the sun beaming right in our window. No airco, which I did not expect, but with the window wide open we had the mosquitoes attacking us all night. What a nuisance. So insect screens would have been the right thing to have here. ||Breakfast was simple with bread, croissants and preserves, plain yogurt and some fresh fruit.||No English spoken, just French !

Extremely well-appointed room with excellent large bathroom in a beautiful setting with a large garden and in wonderful countryside. Extremely welcoming and considerate host and an excellent breakfast, only sorry we had to rush it as we had a ferry to catch!

We were in Saint Briac for a friend's wedding, but decided to make a full France vacation out of it, so we stayed at Le Clos for a long weekend, and it was lovely! The house and grounds are beautiful, and very comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't speak French, so that limited the conversation, but the B&B owner, Daniel, still made us feel at home. You'll enjoy it more though if you can speak enough French to strike up a conversation. Le Clos is also very convenient to the center town of Saint-Briac and to touring Saint-Malo, Dinard and around.

Very nice and quiet B&B, rooms are well designed and spatious, breakfast with fresh croissant and home-made jam makes your day. Service is perfect. Ideal base to discover the beautiful coatline of North Brittany.

Accueil du propriétaire froid et distant.|Grande chambre à la décoration surannée ou le ménage à été oublié : de la poussière partout et vitres des fenêtres sales. |Petit-déjeuner minimal; on ne nous a même pas proposé d'être resservi en café. |En conclusion, le prix très élevé de cette chambre n'est absolument pas justifié. Passez votre chemin !
