CAMPO ROSARIO

Decent campsite. One amenities block was much better than the other but both had plenty of hot water and were cleaned regularly. Huge pitches, our first was on the smaller side but they happily moved us. This is a lively campsite with music going on until late, it didn’t bother us. Within driving distance of plenty of beautiful beaches.

The activities that are provided for the children are fantastic and you can tell by the smiles on the children’s faces.|Every evening, there is different entertainment provided by the animation team .|Emmeline and all of the gang are vivacious in nature and exuberant in their personalities. They enjoy entertainment and it really shows as the audience are always happy and more than willing to participate with the lovely vibrant lads..|The reception team are most helpful and can advise you on places to go and anything else you need to enquire about. Nothing is too much trouble here.|There is a restaurant where you can get food from and the food is lovely.|The bar staff are exceptional in their personalities and you are never kept waiting for a drink. Once again these staff are extremely happy to look after you. Sad to only give this campsite a 3 but… the shop is non existent, the bar was expensive, the pitch was expensive (€76 per night, 2adults,2children and 2dogs, without electric) the toilet/shower facilities were spotless (if dated) the pool was nice, the restaurant felt like it had a good vibe. Family feel to the campsite, big spacious pitches. Please sort your shop and prices out. We have stayed at nicer places for less money.

Stayed for 5 nights in June 24 with our touring caravan. The site seems to have had better days and like many sites nowadays seem more focussed on static cabins and the like. The sanitary facilities are ok but tired and need refreshing, they don’t supply toilet paper!.The pool and bar area are pretty good. We arrived in 32 deg heat and were initially grateful for the shade from trees covering the pitch but it became apparent they were too over grown and needed cutting back as they dropped berries that stuck to everything. Location wise the site is in the outskirts of Cogolin in a tranquil setting but outside the gate it’s a commercial area with car workshops, scrapyard and wholesalers all the way down the 1 mile walk in to town, without a proper pavement. In summary it feels like it has seen better days but you could do worse or pay much more for better.

Overall a typical family orientated French campsite. The pool is excellent although busy at times - you'll do well to swim lengths. The bar is ok; a couple of beers and a couple of soft drinks will set you back around €12.||As for the pitches, it can be a lottery. 10A electric pitches all appear to be well shaded. The 6A area has a couple of areas where there is no shade during the middle of the day until early evening, which made it almost unbearable at times. Also, book early if you want to rent a fridge (~€8/day). It's a family campsite so there are a lot of children about, some more pleasant than others.||The "facilities" are well kept and clean. The old fashioned (crouching)toilets mentioned in other reviews have almost all gone although but (as it seems with quite a lot of local facilities) the toilets don't have plastic seats. Showers are a good size. Dishwashing facilities adequate but water only lukewarm.

the worst experience we've ever had. After a week we had 2 very large rats in the bungalow and we couldn't sleep. I even made a video. We were put in an even smaller bungalow and there wasn't even room to unpack our suitcases. They don't know how to treat guests. We will never go there again. We can't recommend it either. Everyone who used the pool got a rash.

Très Agréable! We enjoyed our stay at the camping. It had a lot of services, a good organisation and the toilettes were quite clean (even though there wasn't neither toilet paper or hand soap). The parcel was fine and well located, even though it would have been better if it had some grass and not just dust. Despite all that, we enjoyed our time there and it fulfilled our expectations.

What we expected vs reality: the website is full of lies: there is no grass on the pitches just tones of dust that gets everywhere, toilets dirty and often clogged, no toilet seats, no soap, wifi does not work at all, for tennis there were no racquets available any time we asked. No water available at the pitch at least to clean the dust before leaving. For showers and in general for cleaning anything it is just one tap with the same temperature available. ||What was nice: the animation program.||The price is doubled compared to Austria or Italy and we had to book for 6 nights. A nightmare to go with small kids.
