SCI BELMONTAISE

Beautifully situated by the river. Lila and Olivier are very hospitable people. Olivier speaks English very well. Enjoyed superb breakfasts in the morning sun with fresh fruits and a stunning view of the river. Had free use of canoes, paddle boards and BBQ equipment. On top, my friend Michel and I enjoyed a relaxing massage.

Recently stayed at this quaint little Chambre D'hote.||The Welcome was effusive from the delightful couple who live here.||The room was large and bright with many original artworks and quirky décor.|| It had all the facilities one could require.||The little Facade of this townhouse hides a large modern open plan space within and leads out onto the most amazing Tiered garden with views over and access down to the riverbank. There are several outdoor dining areas for breakfast but we were unfortunate with the weather on this occasion so enjoyed a lovely spread of local produce (Cheese, yogurt, fruit salad, juice , coffee and were even offered toast as we're British) The chap who runs it speaks very good english , his wife less so but do try your French!|| A real find in this pretty little village and Parking was free and easy nearby although one must walk the last few meters up to their door as its a very narrow lane.||Highly recommended !

Very pleasant stopover at this very nice guesthouse / bed and breakfast. ||Close to village centre, with no-cost public parking nearby. First impression down a little side street were misleading, but it was sweet inside.||Very good breakfast with local produce. ||Allow some time to enjoy the back patio overlooking the river, or read some of the personal development books. ||No restaurant - but the Hotel de Gare about 15 mins walk away is also worth a visit for dinner. ||Quite happy to recommend, especially to break any journey down towards the West.

Comfortable, clean and tidy, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast of bread, croissant, homemade preserves, fresh fruit and yoghourts was plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with views down to the river. We would strongly recommend this accommodation.

This is a perfect place to stay...our hosts were welcoming and delightful. There is a beautiful atmosphere of tranquillity...rooms are comfortable and spotless, and breakfast delicious...gorgeous setting by the river. Highly recommended!

Belle maison où tout appelle au zen. La vue est splendide et nous étions bien installés. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et discuter avec eux est très agréable. Ils veillent à ce que tout soit pour le mieux. |Le petit déjeuner traditionnel est complet. |Idéal pour se ressourcer.|Je recommande !

Que dire de ce séjour parfait … merci à Olivier et Lila pour cette parenthèse enchantée. De l’accueil à la fin du séjour, il n’y a rien à redire. La nourriture est magnifique, le cadre enchanteur, les hôtes merveilleux et les cours / l’expérience en tant que telle est une révélation. A bientôt ;-)

La retraite yoga à la Belmontaise avec ma maman et ma sœur était tout simplement PARFAITE ! Lila et Olivier nous ont réservé un superbe accueil. Leur maison est magnifique et le jardin féerique. Nous étions complètement hors du temps, déconnectées à 100%, que ça fait du bien ! Les séances de yoga était parfaites et adaptées au niveau du groupe. La balade en canoë et l’atelier peinture sur galet complétaient à merveille le yoga. Les repas était DÉLICIEUX. Nous sommes plus que ravies de notre séjour, des magnifiques rencontres que nous avons faites… c’est que du bonheur, foncez !
