SCI LA TREILLE

Fab place to enjoy wine, a fun atmosphere and delicious food. We visited on a busy warm evening, but the hosts managed to serve us on the pavement anyway. A table came free in time for dessert! Unexpected joy on the edge of Nice’s Old Town, which is full of restaurants that we weren’t drawn to.

Hidden gem. We passed by chance and stayed for lunch in the tiny square. Very short menu with 2 starters, 2 main, and 2 desserts. Assume the meny changes on a daily basis. Both our mains were simple but excellent.

Came here for an apertif around 19:30. The bar was packed with people (mostly locals) with no seats available, but we were allowed to buy a glass and bring it to the sidewalk. Great atmosphere. The waiter was stressed and somewhat rude. The rosé pet nat was delicious and only costed around €7.

We had the best experience here. Despite a very hot and busy evening, the service was quite fast and very friendly. The food was perfect for such a hot day and the wines were very tasty. Really recommend

If you want to taste good quality wine, this place is a must have. We had dry wine in general but the other options also looked really convincing. Prices overall are also really good in relation with quality.

We had the most amazing time here. The service is great and they're happy to talk through what you want from the wine you're choosing. Loved it, one of my highlights from the trip.

I can highly recommend this place. In the midst of the awfully tourist-y old town lies La Treille, a genuine and authentic place with equal amounts of charm and soul. Clearly the owners have a sense of aesthetics; Furniture, plants, location, food and even the plates where highly picturesque. Additionally the food was of a very high standard. We ordered four small dishes and two glasses of wine, which set us back 42€. I consider this a very reasonable price for what we got.
