SCI LES CHARMETTES

As always, it was a very enjoyable stay—the kids loved the kids' clubs and activities, while parents could relax and explore the beautiful surroundings, including the fantastic beach. That said, the Wi-Fi access was an absolute nightmare—the only downside of our entire vacation.

I am delighted even though half of the attractions were closed as it was the end of September. Heated pool and slides still open though. Lovely staff very helpful. Accommodation clean and warm.

Having a bad experience so far. My five year old grandson was stopped by security and told he could not eat the sweets he bought from the camp shop in the club area. Pool staff also told us on a day when 90% of the sunbeds and chairs where empty we could not leave the pool area without taking all our belongings to get a coffee from the bar next to the pool. Are these the policy's of the siblu site or just over exuberant staff. I have been coming to siblu sites for over 20 years and never before have I experienced such petty rules. Maybe we will use another operator next year.

Great staff on site, and on email. Heated outdoor pools make it work in the colder weather. Fantastic location for visiting Royan erc. Everything was clean. Good value. If coming from UK, fly to La Rochelle and drive down. It's an easy journey.

Over 12 years using Siblu sites. Never disappointed with sites, staff, facilities or entertainment Would recommend to anyone who enjoys mobile home camping in france. They have sites in Spain and Netherlands and I would have no doubt they are run with the same professionalism

We've stayed in 4 different Siblu sites and I think Les Charmettes might be my favourite! Great pool area with plenty of loungers and seats, but the best bit is probably the bar area. We loved that you could hang out in a way that wasn't dominated by the entertainment and that the open air bars were open late, it was so hot during the daytime that being able to be sociable outside at the end of the day was really valuable for our family. Our tween and teen made plenty of friends and it felt safe to give them plenty of independence. Loved it!

A lovely Campsite/holiday park with excellent facilities. Whilst a large park and caters for lots of people it does not feel cramped. Static caravan plots are generous, well equipped and super clean. Staff are also really friendly, whilst it is mainly French families most staff do speak English. We didn't really see much of the evening entertainment as it is mostly in French (which is fine seeing as we were in France) however we have young children so wasn't really on our agenda. The location is also great as it's only a 10 minute walk to Luna Park, you can also cycle to the beach which is about 20 minutes or so. We will most certainly be returning next year!

Awful website and terrible communication let Siblu down. Spent far too long messing about on the phone trying to make phased payments, add extras and find details I should have found on website. Arrived and was hounded for days to pay for towels, not only had I paid for but had to walk 2km round trip to collect on changeover day because their woeful website hadn't been able to add to booking. The staff were rude and accusatory. On site bar is over priced. Pool complex is fabulous and well looked after - great to see life guards doing regular water checks and allowing silliness but not danger. Smaller pool had less shade but was easier to get a seat and was just as well looked after. Onsite shop well stock but over priced and bakery amazing. Mobile home largely clean and great facilities - first year we've had sharp knives and a chopping board. Snack shop and take away on site were decent enough and restaurant was too - fairly limited menu - could do with an alternative to chips but well cooked and nice staff
