SCI LOMBARDI

I'm an ACCOR Gold and stay in many of their hotels annually. The hotel was easy to find with GPS (but not well sign posted, which helps) and close to the motorway. It was clearly busy with customers when we arrived at 8.30pm. Check-in was swift and friendly. we had booked two prestige rooms. Both were recently renovated, of a good size with nice bathrooms. One of them stank (a horrible fish smell), likely the glue that had been used to stick the carpet. We'd opened the window (-1C outside!), hoping to let the smell out whilst we were at dinner. It hadn't had any real effect by the time we returned. Unfortunately, at 10pm there was nobody around reception and I gave up waiting after 10 mins, as I was tired from 11h driving that day. The room really shouldn't have been let out to customers. Dinner was not good. The manager was told us they were full, even though I could see empty tables. I asked what we could do, and he shrugged - they were full. So I asked if he did room service. He said yes. Then I asked if we could eat at the empty table to the side of the bar. He shrugged! So we ate there. Our food was disappointing - an opinion shared by other guests around us too. In contrast, breakfast was superb! Both in terms of the variety and quality of the food on offer.

Connecting rooms, comfy beds however I wasn’t a fan of the pillows. Good location away from the noise but close enough to easily drive to shops/ restaurants. Hotel restaurant nice for breakfast and room service dinner

Most of the staff working in the lobby are rather like trainees, and very young. For some of them, English speaking was barely adequate. Breakfast lacks variety. Nothing changed during my three days there.

Comfortable and noiseless. It would be nice to have body lotion in the room, I asked for it but never appeared. Also it would be nice to have amenities to make the stay more comfortable, specially relevant for stays of +2 nights.

Such good food! Fresh vegetables from the garden taste great. The artichoke soup was incredible. The salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. The mushroom risotto was delicious. The apple almond tart was scrumptious . The meringue with mango was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. This was the best restaurant I ate at in Switzerland. Excellent service also!!!

All round, this hotel was great (and we've stayed a few times now over the years and is very consistent). Everywhere is very clean, the breakfast excellent and the standards of service from the team there are just outstanding. We'll definitely be staying here again when next in the Geneva area. Well done and thank you to the whole team

Our stay at the Hôtel Mercure Annemasse was absolutely delightful! The hotel offers a great breakfast with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. Its location is convenient for those traveling by car, providing easy access to nearby attractions, though it's not within walking distance to shops. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and the staff is exceptionally gentle and polite, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our stay. Considering the excellent service and amenities, the hotel is truly great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will surely return in the future! Highly recommended!
